Another one bites the dust!
It's a shame, but I'm sure we all understand where you're coming from. Good luck with the breaking and I hope it goes smoothly for you.

I really like them, they are called the poor man's 911 but the 928 was never well thought of either and it's now a classic.
Thanks Rich, I have been inundated with PM's already - it will be quite hard to keep track off I believe.
Onwards and upwards.

Oh well, it's a shame really as it's one of those more desired cars. But i must say you're very patient TY , regargless it's a spec c i'd have moved on a long time ago... All this number chasing thing does only one thing...drains your wallet... Sensibly tuned cars are much more enjoyable , less problematic IMO... Good luck with your other purchase bud.

Having just read a laughable post in another thread I would like to point out that certain posts in this thread have been to highlight basic errors made and which I have had to pay to get sorted.
Perhaps if I had a car with a dulux paint job and was worth about 50p for scrap value then I would happily have had the repair carried out on the cheap, but I don't and I don't operate that way.

Phew, just finished reading the whole thread and it's really made me think about which way to to go with my Type r, pretty much the same thing happened to me but mine has been parked up for 2yrs now.
Maybe it's time to throw the towel in and get that S2000 i've been hankering after.

Well, I sat down just over three hours ago to have a quick look at the active topics and came across this post. I started reading it from the beginning and I couldn't stop. I've now read all of it and all I can say Ty is that I am truely gutted for you. To spend all that time and money on your pride and joy and endure everything you have done in the process is bad enough but to then get the final failure and no sign of an apology from the person responsible for the initial build is unforgivable . I hope whatever you buy next you have better luck with.

I have to be totally honest and say that it really did feel gutting today to see it literally being ripped apart, all that time, hard work and the money ploughed into it being taken to pieces.
I suppose it shows that some stand up and will be counted, whilst others run for cover and disappear only to resurface at a later point when they believe that everything will be gone and forgotten about.
I hope for all those who have read and followed what went on or will know at some point in the future that they take on board what I learned about this:
Never let someone's ability get overtaken by their ambition.
And as said by someone on this thread 'You can't teach experience'.
