I may turn up but not in a dyno run capacity as I already know the 0-30 time of my car and to be honest I wouldn't want the print out to put Frayz's Bumbder to shame ()
So I may turn up but purely to show support and dream of being one of the big boys one day.

Lee,
I'm sorry but have to agree that I think you have jumped the gun here and it's clearly a misunderstanding.
You have formed an opinion that our forum is cliquey because you didn't get a reply from the OP within 22 hours.
The reason nobody replied to your question about the 10 car discount is because nobody other than the OP knows.
You are not being ignored or selectively spoken to. I also saw your question and chose not to reply because quite simply, I've nothing to do with the organisation of the dyno day and neither has anyone but the OP.
The OP has replied apologising for not answering due to work commitments etc.
22 hours is less than a day, not all of us are able to be on Scoobynet 24 hours a day.
Please reconsider your opinion on the Essex section, we are working hard to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere both on here and a welcoming environment at our meets etc.
I honestly don't think a post in the general section was necessary.
Kind regards
Frayz.

Hi All
New on here but really interested in getting along to this.
Do these events happen often?
Unfortunately I'm not sure we'll make it next Saturday... Supposed to be fitting new coil-overs on my dads bugeye.
The other scooby, recently purchased as a trackday project, a very slow, not much happening kind of project at the moment appears to have not had a cambelt change since 07 and is running really lean so not sure it would be good to do a power run on it until sorted :-(
If we don't make it to this event we'll defo be at a meet soon, will be good to meet you all and your scoobies soon!
Cheers

Dyno days are not done that regularly but expect them to come along every few months or so. I think you should take your own advise and leave any kind of power runs or wide open throttle until you have your AFRs sorted.
Feel free to introduce yourself and post some photos. Are monthly meets will be updated in due course and you're very welcome along.

If we get enough members i may do one every 4 months. Anyone is welcome to come along even if there not running there car on the dyno. Its a good day out with some good friends and good staff members at the Eurospec 2000 garage. Theyve got some lovely motors in there. If your really lucky, you can do some minor mods on there ramps, like change your brake pads etc. Mine need doing so im gonna change mine when we are down there

OK thanks guys, I'll check out the calendar when it's updated and get along hopefully to the next meet.
Can anyone recomend somewhere locally that would be a good place to get the lean running checked out?
The engine sounds fine, has plenty of power, doesn't hesitate or anything strange (as far as I can tell, no expert though!) but I am a bit concerned about it as I have no idea it's been running like it is so I really want to get it checked out soon by someone who knows what they are talking about.
Any suggestions much appreciated!

Im hoping Leecossie is still watching this forum/thread, wow it all went a bit loopy. The esc/esoc are embarking on a radical change at the moment on here, in the flesh nothing has changed really. All I have to say is that I got my scoob in March, asked if I could pop along to the meet and all was confirmed. Result for me as Im from Hull, East Yorks originally, never in that time thought of it as clicky, so as far as im concerned get yourself down to the next meet if you can
