Yea you to Ron, your car is something else, there is a simplicity to having a well looked after and great looking motor that is sometimes lost with modified cars. Still think you should hunt down a Prodrive ECU if you want to keep everything oem, well worth it

You will need the Prodrive Intercooler Y pipe and downpipe unless your running a decat mate.

This is my old PPP Impreza

That looks the nuts mate

1st impreza i rode in was a red one

Always had a soft spot for them

Well i have the samco blue Y pipe under the intercooler,

The exhaust has a 3" decat down pipe , that tapers into a 2" pipe diameter at the end ( i think it 2" or 2.5") that connects up to the original centre cat.

Would that be ok to just plug and play the PPP ECU ??

Or will i need a decat center section too ??

Cheers Ron

Yea the car was lovely, nicer to drive than my WRX too. The TD04 makes its a nice egar car with good throttle, TD05 is kind of all or nothing really, quite tiring after a while unlike the 2000.

Sounds like you have most of the parts already to be honest, PPP comes with a Y pipe and sports cat, so by the looks you just need the ECU, nice way to get an extra 20/30 brake.

Thanks for the feedback guys. Sounds like it might not be worth doing another rolling road with them anytime soon. Ive always trusted there results but thats my own personal experience with 4 various cars in the past. Main thing is everyone had a good day out. Ive had Ben (Dyno tester) on the phone asking for feedback. Ive told him im very happy with my results as well as the service and prices recieved by Eurospec2000.

Ive said to Ben that ill organise another dyno day in 6 months time in September if anyones interested

The blobeye output is pretty common for PPP cars tbh, never make the claimed figures.

It's all good

Don't forget we all love the dyno when it over reads nice to see some caution/reality in the numbers once in a while
Yea can't say I was expecting miracles, it made 248 last time and was dynoed by the preivous owner at 267 but rollers are different on each occation. Its a happy little engine thnat gets looked after, but I'm starting to feel the burn of a 2.1 stroker...
