I think people need to be Carefull on how they are going about this, it seems to be getting out of hand very quickley,I would suggest pm Scooby Spain with confidential info etc.
As some posts are coming across as threats and that's when the law could get involved.
Plan anything behind closed doors, not on a bloody public forum ffs.

 

I don't think anyone is making plans, it's just the community coming together to protect it's self by informing others of a potential scammer in our midst, i don't think anyone has broken the law.

Nothing wrong with sharing information, thats what forums are for.

Just trying to help the fella, it's obvious to me what's gone on here, the guys a scammer plain and simple and needs to sort it out.

It could have been any one of us left in this situation, if it were me, I wouldn't have even been posting about it, it would have just been dealt with in any way I saw fit at the time.

I'm fairly local to this scammer, and just trying to dig enough pics/info to suss his address, and pass it on

It's upto the op how he uses the info

Looking at Andy's "for sale" thread, it looks like the struts probably came off "GJ53 UAB" that he bought.... Anyone know the car, might be possible to get some info on the state of them off the previous owner?

I think the most damning thing for me is that email trail that Spain posted. If a buyer tried to scam me by saying that something I'd flogged them was ****e due to a long list of made-up faults, I'd tell them it didn't have those faults when I sold them. I wouldn't say "Well, I never said they were mint"

People like you ruin the trust aspect for all genuine sellers and buyers in what is supposed to be a reliable source of all things Scooby related. Most People have to work hard for there money nowadays and are lucky if they can afford to spare any to spend on their pride and joy just for someone like you to scam them out of it. I hope one day karma repays you in fine style.

After calling PayPal several times and waiting for their call that "I have never received", I called them this morning they don't want to resolve the problem since they always use the excuse that "this case is with the other person and now isn’t available", I think that they no longer want to know anything else about this matter.
