My opinion on the TRL thread is another matter and private to me, but dont try bully boy tatics misquoting the law. People try this all the time.. HnS say.. the law says..

How about the school he was filmed driving past. Was that on private ground aswell?

Ok, he's your friend, and you want to stick up for him, but you're clutching at straws.

These cameras are sold on the basis that if you have an accident that film can be used as evidence in court to confirm who was to blame.

If you're saying it's illegal to film without permission, what is the point in those cameras?

Fair enough but if you have had good experience then fair dos, but don't be so naive into thinking matts the dogs bolocks when he has been doing this type of thing for years now, like I said I can name you a few people right now, but it's not my business to tell. He has had it coming for years now and it's about time people knew about him,if you have had good dealings with him then fair enough but a LOT of others haven't and it's just a coincidence that sider decided to show him in real action which I respect as all other seem to be quite from it all, but I hope now people come forward and tell their experiences, why do you think I refusing him to map my car, do I really look that dumb that somebody can blag me so easily? I'm no spring chicken but I'm not a thick cnunt.
If he's not building your new car etc then why are you so adamant on protecting him when there's proof and facts been raised
Stay out of it if I was you otherwise you will look like that other dude from that thread that wouldn't listen to owt, unless that was you?

Well the in that case the conversation and use on private property could be ignored (IF what you say is correct), but what about the driving on public road, which is the bigger issue?

Invading his privacy on a private premises?
Seriously, just leave it. Like i said, i know he's your friend, but you are putting both yourself and Matt in a bad light, and doing neither of you any favours.
You really think if that video went to court they'd chuck it out?

I won't comment on Matt's work, i have no idea if it's good or bad, but trying to make out the video recording is illegal is plain stupidity (IMO)
