the difference being it private.. not a company..
even companys can often film in public with notice, so long as no interference to traffic or members of public, most ofter this is to cover 'popular' areas where TV often want to film and the authority dont want the hassle

Does it matter if the video is legal or not.
Fact is it shows him thrashing a customers car on a public road.

Right... so you're saying the part where he is ragging the car on a public road, with a fooked (apparently) engine is legal, but the part on private premises is illegal?

It's the part on the road, which you've said is legal, which is the problem.
So what point are you trying to make about the private part? That part is irrelevant.

Am i missing something here? I know it's late... but am i being stupid?

Nobody is trying to do anything like that, TRL supporters are doing a pretty good job of that themselves. The rest of us are able to make an informed decision from the evidence presented whether to use TRL or not, personally I have had enough of tuners from that side of the world but that is whole different can of worms.

He may have them but hasn't disclosed them in the public domain as far as I know ( I haven't seen them personal vids).

IMO you are missing a lot, and you are doing matt no favours by bumping this thread when it died down until you posted.

Just so we're clear here, are you saying mapping has no bearing on fecking an engine up?

Fair enough I will when I see you but like I said earlier this isn't the first time matts had bad customers and it's just a coincidence that sider has decide to speak out or should I say race developments.
I can tell you a few evo owners that have had bad dealings with matt but they are too ***** to speak out.

What qualifies you to make that as a statement of fact?

But matt never put the initial settings into the motec prior to mapping, has he told you that or do you just listen to what he tells you? Like he does with everyone else it seems.
