You may know an awful lot about cars but you seem to know less about the laws relating to the filming of others in public and private places.

Firstly, as defined by law a public place is any area accessable by the public whether by payment or otherwise. Ergo the inside of a football stadium, Which is controlled by gates and admission fees but is still a public area and every muppet in there films players from about four hundred yards away.

To try and argue that the inside of a garage is a private place during opening hours would hold no water whatsoever. Long live Road Hawk and pity the fool that blows an engine three hours before he is caught on said camera smoking it past a school.

That is bad For trust and that is why people are fuming and wouldn't want to go there
People want there property treated with respect and that was all far from it

Digging contractor, if this is your attempt at defending Matt and the shower of **** at The Racing Line then you have failed miserably.

How can you defend CLEAR data logs?? Especially when engine builder has emails stating that the car was never taken on the road (lie) that it was not run after he found pressurisation problems (lie) that he never told the customer regarding the scratch (deceit and a lie) and did not send the logs to motec to be analysed? And if correct he still has not sent them? Then somebody who has a problem posts that thread and he can't defend himself?? Only pops along to answer trivial bits of information? IMO and will state its my opinion only that he is a liar, a cheat and a fraud with all due respect, that is my stance on the information that has been available to us via that thread, and as for the independent engineer to look at the problem, what a laugh yet the oil sample showed no contamination? Bit strange that really considering it was pressurising and evidence apparently of a blown gasket ( may have had head lift granted but how was that brought about ) but no contamination of the sample which I found strange tbh, and then to give a punter a ride in the car without prior consent or even being told about it, AFTER he had already told Tim the engine was shot? Don't add up to me, he seems quick enough to shove blame but not come out and defend his statements but quick enough to blame Tim as a result, not professional in the slightest through my eyes sorry

Guys , i don't know why because trl have done this it's become such an issue
I personally don't like naming company's or individual's , because the simple fact is at sometime or other , they do or have made wrong decisions ( all of them ) and lucky for most it's not come to light , so if we're gonna have a thread listing wrong doings , it's gonna be a long one !
They've f***ed up I agree , but who hasnt ?
It's a little disturbing when threads try and bring a company too it's knees
I could name 2 or 3 others that have done a wrong un
1 who blew a motor and put it right without even telling the customer !!!
I think they're aware they've cocked up , and will up their game a little
I'm no ones mate so I don't really care , tbh it would benifit me if more went to the dogs but IMHO to do slagging about individuals work on the net is not the done thing

That was also nailed to try and make them look like 'no1' builders and get the £'s from your pocket

Search a lot of forums and matt is always pulled down for being incompetent .

The only praise they get are from there little loyal lapdog customers.

Anyway it's ****ing west Yorkshire ......any one with a brain knows you will be getting your pants pulled down
Steady on with the West Yorkshire lark it's not that bad round here lol

A lot of the "friends" on that thread have this look about them.

Some Roadhawk system, Jura was saying its on a group buy on here at the moment.

As for 'if the engine didn't go pop these films would not have been an issue', I'm sure if the owner checked his recordings he wouldnt have been happy with the 'road test'. If it was me, I'd still have questioned TRL, thenpublished the films for all to see if I didn't get the right answers.

That's exactly what sider did, he didn't want to show videos in the public domain but he was lied and lied to so had no option to post videos up.

The old adage 'with friends like these who needs enemies' comes to mind.

Can you post link to the group buy for this as looked and can not find it?
Just looked on their web site and seems just what I am looking for.
Apologies for the slight hijack on this thread.
Cheers
