I see a picture of an undertray yes. I wouldn't know if it was a WRX or WRX STi version though.

I also see that it is compatible with a WRX STi (which of course it is) but I can't see anything that specifically says its a WRX or WRX STi item (although still might be missing something).

Just trying to play "devils advocate" and see if the buyer might have reasonably expected it to be the STi item...although if eBay have found in your favour then who cares lol.

OK - was a bit difficult to decipher the eBayer's language

And I was no way trying to suggest the OP had done anything dodgy

I know the prices of STI Undertrays go for would of saved money on the advert and sold it on here straight away £40 / £50 not a £5er on scam bay
Check my feed back burbling1 am sure thats anoth
I've just had another look through the advert, although it is on my phone, it says suitable for a wrx sti, I can't find were it says wrx or wrx not sti.
I know your not a scammer but eBay users don't know that, I've had personal experience buying from you and had no problems.

But he did, the buyer bought it as it was listed as sti then slab changed listing, but who know when that was done. Don't think you can edit listing when there is a bid on it so he must of edited before buyer placed bid

That's what I was getting at - the listing title does not say WRX or WRX STi, nor does the body of the listing. The only info is in the compatibility list.

It's impossible to change the heading when bids have been made or there would be loads of people being ripped off don't ya think
Also when a ad has a been bid when you add or alter ebay put what every you have written below the advert with time and date

So still a rather ambiguous listing then as the only clue is the picture (if you know what you're looking at) or the compatibility table which implies STi?

Ebays a joke. I was left bad feedback as the guy didn't want the item after winning it then days later telling me he didn't want it. Reported it to eBay and they said he had the right to leave feedback whether the item was paid for or not. What a joke but that is eBay for you.

Whether the part was described/labelled incorrectly or not, the buyer has shown him/herself be be an ignorant fool for threatening the seller before making any reasonable attempt to resolve the issue amicably.

Attack was not the best form of defence in this case!

Yes and I fully agree on that, but this is all caused by seller not describing listing clearly, not by just saying 'bugeye bonnet scoop undertray' and saying it fits sti in compatibility section.

Compatibility means fit other models yes, but the undertray wouldn't be fit for its purpose, it may fit but it won't do it's job.
You have not helped by that basic listing, not telling anyone where/what it came from spec wise and no where that you have put will NOT fit sti without modification.
To a unknown buyer that hasn't a clue about stuff which eBay buyers are full of lol, just knows he needs a undertray off a sti to fit his uprated intercooler etc, sees you'r listing and finds it fits sti without knowing anything else.
Both parties are in the wrong IMO and if you can't see that then I can't be aresed explaining.
Take it a lesson learnt and clear description listings will help in future.
Regards

Yes because he threatened you which is against rules, he sounds like an idiot tbh, but good for you.
If that was me, I would of put relevant feedback without telling you, that way it wouldn't have been removed, obviously the buyers a bit dense. But hey ho it's Xmas so **** it
