My exsisting clock assembly has a flashing LED. Hopefully this will disconnect ok and not cause any imobiliser issues?
I can, if I have to, relocate the LED to the blanked off switch next to the I/C waterspray button.

That's what I was wondering.
Will it be ok just, in effect, left hanging / flashing under there?
LED's don't get hot or anything I don't think do they?

So if you can get your hands on a earlier version, can they be updated to the latest firmware version? Or is it based on what model you got in order to update it?
Also what sensors does it need to make it fully functioning, I.e fuel pressure, oil pressure etc and are these expensive to buy?

Sorry bud, I'm really not sure about the software, perhaps ECUtek can advise.
You can get sensors and wires from Defi I believe. I wish I could help you more, sorry mate.

Matt, this thread may be interesting to you, regarding getting oil readings without sensors.
Also, Mr Infected, Simon's email from back and beyond is on there, you may need to contact him.

Interesting thread, thank you Myles.
Now fitted (pics later) OT started at 105c - on a stone cold engine! It then crept down, so maybe it's learning.
On a run it fluctuated (OT) between approx 78c and 88c.
Coolant crept up to a max of 91c.
OP crept up from 1.2 bar (cold) to max of 3.4 bar, and stayed there - sound about right?
Max boost went to 1.06 bar - sound about right?
How did I get a minus boost reading though? ie on tickover and gentle accel??!!

Negative manifold pressure, same as it would read on a boost gauge, at tick over it should be a minus value think mines around -8 at idle.
Them toucans are a nice bit of kit but won't work on a standard ecu
I previously asked the question

IIRC I moved my flashing LED to a blanked off switch position and I may have lengthened the wires to do this.

Regarding fitting, the PSi3 came in 2 bits. 1) The shroud - containing the guts and display screen, and 2) The bracket.
Here's how I did it :
Pulled out the chocolate clock assembly from the dash, disconnected it and stuck the LED (flashing immob) tucked away on the vent duct with that sticky black gum stuff.
I then attached a length of garden wire to the small green connector of the PSi3 lead - seen top right corner of 1st pic.
Fed it through from under the steering column area until the garden wire showed where the clock was. Pulled it through very gently, PSi3 lead now roughly in place.
Then fitted the bracket (4 phillips screws) which the small green connector goes to. The bracket is a bit like a single DIN stereo bracket, but with nothing going across the top - only 2 sides and a bottom to it. Mine came with 4 self tapping lugs for the screws - like the ones used for speakers on parcel shelves for example. The 4 holes are already there from the plastic lugs which hold in the clock assembly.
The bracket also has 2 cables / connectors to fit to the guts of the PSi3 and it's shroud.
You get approx 6 inches of slack here, so time to test.
Plugged the OBD connector in and fired the car up.
Readings started straight away.
Then the shroud / screen included slots into place (2 one way clips either side on the back of the screen going into the bracket) and 2 lugs that vanish under the dash at the back near the windscreen air ducts.
The last thing was to cable tie the slack cable at the OBD end. Nice and tidy.
Readings shown below are :
BP - Boost Pressure
OT - Oil Temperature
CT - Coolant Temperature
OP - Oil Pressure
Tools : Stubby phillips, a length of garden wire, and 1 cable tie.
