It's almost prepped for the paint job. Engine is built waiting to go in. I'm just struggling to find a nice original interior.

Just gotta clean it now and take some good pictures.

Still missing a few critical bits like the interior and front splitter.

Matty, it's no. 517 of 555 👍
Which makes it a 555 v-limited.

Its a WRX STI Version 3 V-limited with model number GC8D4ED. The fact they only made 555 doesn't mean its a 555 edition, that title was only ever used on the V2 STI 555.
Its a lovely car chap but think I'd change the seats to original ones. I believe they used the same seats as the normal V3 sti, grey with red bolsters.

Regardless of what it is that's some heroic work you've done there Padster

Such a shame it was buggered up so badly in such a short space of time.

Unfortunately most of these cars will end up covered in tat and abused before being broken for parts.

I understand your meaning, as the v2 with gc8c48d op code bkc being the only 555 on paper, I didn't read your post correctly re being pedantic. Lol

The v3 v limited is commonly referred to as a 555 due to being limited to 555 units.

The seats are slightly different they have a wrc blurb just beneath the Sti stitching.
But I'd be happy with some Sti standard seats !! Lol

Cheers rich, just been a long job with only being able to spend a couple of hours a month on it as the garage has been very busy. Had a quiet week so got some time on it.

Just ignore me buddy....
Ive just got a thing for getting the models correct thats all

I can see why it gets confused, the same happens with other models as some even have 555 stiched into the seats. The v3 type r I think has 555 on the seats for instance

As for your seats, yep think you're right. These are the ones I believe.....
