Received mine yesterday cheers frayz!! Haven't put them on yet as have suspect big end knock and a bit pi$$ed as you can imagine haven't even had it two weeks! Feel like cryin lol

It's going to be diagnosed on sat as a couple of mechanics have listed to it and can't put there finger on it!! I've listened to loads of vids on YouTube have mine is nothing like any of them.
It's completely quite on tick over if I hold the revs at any level it's quite it's only makes a knock/rattle noise with tiny blips of the throttle, and I've only notice it since removing the nur spec and putting the prodrive system back on.
I'm just paying its not the big ends as it took me a year to saves to get another scoob. And will take a long time to save for a rebuild

A shim would make the noise almost all of the time.

A big end knock is usually an "on throttle" deep knock. Not a rattle, it's a knock. It's usually pretty conclusive. As for a small end rattle, this is usually top end and has a higher pitched tone than a big end and usually happens "off throttle".
A shim would make the noise almost all of the time.
