Oh come on people didnt you see this coming? This is where its been going all the time. Side stepping valid points while angling towards the opportunity to spout the usual working time/pay etc etc biased clap trap that has made PSL so bitter about working what he believes is a little longer than teachers. Do we really have to endure this again?
I know maybe we could have another moan about charities next week, that will be fun.

If you fail to respond on this we can all assume that you are talking utter rubbish!

We had to attend primary school in all weathers even 3 foot snow drifts & walk it we didn't have the luxury of turning up in a state of the art Range Rover.
To get to my Grammar school I had to catch 2 buses & that included a 1 mile walk for the first bus once again in all weathers.
There is a fine line between a reason & an excuse, there was no validity in schools being cancelled period!

I am saying that Teachers and other School Staff should get in 1 Hour EARLY and clear the school for the kids ............ I am NOT saying clear snow instead of Teaching!
But, it would only be done if the Teaching Staff 'wanted' to give something back ...... as I said earlier - the Head/Governors can only tell Teachers what to do for 26 Hours a week!!
Unlike the real world where most are told what to do for 40 hours a week!!

You're talking/typing but not putting up any defence, not one issue have to taken up to dispute ....... you are a muppet without substance, end of - go away or fight your corner.
Warning .... I know far more about the Education system than you.

Only the Senior Management Team 'may' be still in school at 7pm (if they have a Governors meeting) ..... but then the SMT get paid £60,000+ and should be working normal hours.

Anyway I thought this thread was all about 'failing to respond', avoiding points and jumping on the smallest opportune statement to vent personal issues.
PSL its not healthy to be so consumed by irrational hatred of teachers, let it go, let it go.

Engineer actually, not in a school.
My argument is how bigoted you must be to assume the hrs a teacher is at the school translates into them not having a proper job.
Nothing to do with planning lessons, homework, marking, loading with social services, being bound by so much red tape and "PC madness" it would make your head swell. At the same time as doing an incredibly influential job, most people always remember a good teacher from their youth.
I have a huge amount of respect for teachers.
If your jealous maybe you should be looking at your own life.
With regards to closures I expect an awful lot of weighting on the old Elf and Safety!
