actually someone makes a good point on that website

"IF" David Bellamy does make a comeback, it may well be accompanied by the return of Lenny Henry too

sorry, but that is a risk I am not prepared to take

He was an associate at a company I worked for about 20yrs ago. I dropped off a new laptop at a hotel he was staying at but didn't get to meet him.

This 'science' you refer to has been thoroughly debunked.

I suggest you try reading more than one side of the argument in future...before you go shooting you mouth off

I mentioned it of course to support David Bellamy who is the subject of this thread.

Please show us where the science you mention has been "debunked".

The scientists who have recently told us that there is no significant GBW were the ones who reported it's existence in the first place because of the innaccuracy of their measuring equipment at the time. Who has done the debunking? I have not seen it reported by a trustworthy source. Or have I missed it somehow?

Yep I think it only fair Martin proves his claims rather than just stating it as fact and while he's about it why doesn't he also give us the reasons why getting out of the EU would be so catastrophic for the UK rather than just telling us we are all stupid for suggesting it

Never ever, ever, ever, have I ever said that 'the science is settled' if it were then this wouldn't even be a discussion.

All I'm trying to point out to the absolutists (on both sides) is that there is no way anyone can be certain, yet I keep reading on here absolutist statements from people who cannot possibly know enough to be certain.

Believe or not I'm actually skeptical too, but but there a world of difference between skepticism and outright cynicism and ideological myopia

Maybe people wouldn't be so cynical if the world's governments didn't use something unproven as a basis for levying yet more taxation upon the population. Just a thought!

But then you're quite happy to point out to other 'skeptics' that they're wrong and quite certain that their 'science' has been debunked and proceed to post a link from a pro-climate change site on rising sea temperatures.

No I'm quite happy to point out that anyone on here that claims to KNOW for sure, is either lying or bonkers

So what do you mean when you say that the science behind skeptics has been "thoroughly debunked"? Sounds to me that you KNOW this for sure!

Well let me state it one more time then.

I'm skeptic, and that's all I know for sure

Well if I may ask you a personal question then, how does it feel to be "thoroughly debunked"?
