I thought I was lucky where I get to work on my car at a frinds farm workshop with a few Man toys in but yours takes the World Cup for ultimate man cave!!
I'm gonna sell my house for a garage like yours and them sleep in my car!.
Here is a few pics of the workshop and toys.
Cheers Chris

Try this company www.evertile.co.uk

I would try and avoid eva foam made tiles as if you doing any work on the car involving jacks they will be too soft, a harder tile will stand up to it better.

Get a list of companies, ring them up and they will send you sample so you can decide on what you want.

I went for dark grey - button style 7mm and it is excellent tough quality.

My brother in law has got some of that in his garage covering most of the floor. It is quite soft under foot but does make it feel warmer in there (not sure if thats just a placebo of having a floor covering in there though?

Epic garage, keep the pics coming buddy

Nice flooring but I cant spend that much on the floor, heres my quote lol.http://www.evertile.co.uk/products-page/checkout/

Is eva foam that bad? I can put some ply down on the rare occasion I use a jack. Daft question but will a stiletto heel damage it..thats the acid test here...I have a woman that wrecks floors for fun

I'm not sure if its exactly the same stuff as your link but he's had to put a small piece of ply under his bike stand as it was digging into the flooring.

It takes normal foot traffic ok and it's got a jetski sat on a trailer on it and hasn't damaged it but smaller sharper objects do seem to deform it. I'm not sure if it would take the weight of a car without marking it?

Tile the parts that will take the heavy load and use something cheaper on the parts that will take lighter traffic?

No probs mate, as someone else said it maybe worth getting a couple of different samples to try out?

Another option is some floor paint but that could make it look a bit industrial...

I would prefere one flooring all the way through the room,I really like the look of those 2 tone tiles..esp in red/grey. Dont want to paint the floor again,is concrete and very cold and hard.I have requested a sample for the wife to stomp in her heels

Please let me know when its all done up, as I'd like to book the car in for a service & detailing, while I relax in the jacuzzi upstairs. (p.s. I'm not a loner btw....!)

I'll be expecting an Espresso machine too.

(enjoy it!)

Simb,

The garage looking a treat buddy, hope you took my advice and got it all finished.

You will be too busy or not allowed to go in there, now you got a new addition to the family..

Well Im still chipping away at it,started boxing in the roller door gear

still chaotic behind the lens

Disappointed with the local thieving metal fairies,I put this out for them 2 days ago ,its still there....if I didnt want it taken they would have had it by now,in my experience..hence the bollard behind my gates.

meanwhile inside a little bit of paint splashed about

constantly moving crap around to start the next job...shelves will be a pleasure

knocked up another nice big walk in cupboard...
