And today we find he made her have an abortion - this guy is good isn't he?
I mean to think that this person who managed to pursue a career that lead to being Joint Head of the Government Economic Service, was such a push over when dealing with dastardly Chris in the marital home. Why it's scarcely credible.
Wish I was on the jury!
Looks like Vicky is enjoying the opportunity provided by the judicial system to sink the boot in to her ex

Not forgetting the irony being she is the guiltier party as she denied the charge whereas nice Mr Huhne pleaded guilty.
And of course Huhne was the one who actually committed the offence in the first place![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
A family at war and two careers ruined all for a bit of juggling with the paperwork.

I still think the whole saga has been blown out of proportion.
Who cares.....really? Just throw his license away and fine her for wasting the courts time.
Pathetic. The pair of them.

Mate, if this was you or I we would be sent down for perverting the course of justice. Feet wouldn't touch the floor.

Apparently she was open mouthed and shaking when the verdict was read out ![Luxhello](images/smilies/luxhello.gif)
Her husband will also be open mouthed and shaking when Bubba meets him in the shower block.
Send them BOTH down.
They thought they were above the law.
Arrogant fvckers

Looking forward to hearing the Judges summing up before sentencing.
Should be a good laugh.
If you like to cringe - have a listen to the two of them chatting on the phone in the following link.

To me, this case just illustrates again the futility of spending big bucks (and i bet they did) on legal representation. Marital coercion? What? You lied, luv, that's the fact of the matter. Unless there's a legal loophole then what the hell has any "defence" got to do with it? It irritates me that barristers are seen as linch-pins in the legal framework. Meh.

Perverting the course of justice is a serious offence, if it was going to be suspended or just a fine the judge would have handed it down.
My bet he will have pre-sentencing reports just to check there are do disadvanged children that would suffer..................and then lob them into gaol![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)

+1
Will she get more gaol time than he does is the question to ask.
Pleading not guilty and manipulating the legal system to her own ends will mitigate against her.
Maybe she should play the insanity card next.

We'll see. I can certainly see that they'd want to send a strong message that lying about who is driving is a serious offence, but there are plenty of students who have done the same thing, been caught and not jailed, even when it's been for more than one crime. Could go either way i reckon.

I always thought there was a small chance MS Pryce might get off -- and hence, I suppose, would not get sent to prison
(and the bet only stands if they both serve at least a night in Jail)
but my view on this has been pretty consistent – Perverting the course of Justice is a serious offence
contary to the thread title it was never going to be quietly dropped - ever, and nor should it

And then backed it up by saying that them having a baby would be bad for his political career - how is anyone expected to swallow that. I doubt the jury did.
The only thing her son has found out from the case is that his mother is a rather embittered woman who would do anything (including profoundly damaging her own children) in order to pursue her somewhat twisted agenda.
Anyways, the Judicial arm of the Government now gets the chance to get one over a former member of the executive and legislative branches for f***ing around with the legal system (of all things).
There is a movie in this. Any ideas who should be in it?
Tom Cruise starring as the charismatic boy wonder/racer Chris Huhne for starters?
