Well, tomorrow is the big day.
Judge should be in his element summing up these two w*nkers.
I reckon he'll get three months in the big house and she'll get four.
Any other crystal ball gazers out there?

They'll both get custodial sentence of over 6 months, hers will be longer than his. Judging by his taste in women he should never be let out.

CPS will have had a word in judge's shell like about the £100k wasted when Huhne pleaded not guilty to start with. So he could end up with a BIG fine.
I almost felt sorry for the ex but then I came to my senses![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)

Waste of taxpayers money sending the likes of this pair to prison. Massive fines for both is the way to go although this is probably limited.

The problem for Huhne is that although he did plead guilty, which should count for him
He only did so when he ran out of road so to speak
Contrary to his public pronouncements of being glad to have the opportunity for his day in court to defend himself and prove his innocence
He vigorously and actively fought (behind the scenes in legal argument) to have the whole case dismissed, right up until the Sunday night before the trial start date - and this tactic was comprehensively demolished by the trial Judge - who must be feeling vindicated
It was only when this failed, and a court appearance beckoned, he fessed up
Although Miss Pryce fought to the end, I think the only thing that may stop her going to prision is the “children” issue

I have a question: Why does the jury hand down the guilty/innocent verdict, but the judge hand out the sentence? Surely a judge can hand out a sentence completely at odds with the jury's understanding of the events if he disagrees with them.

So how long will they actually serve then as everybody knows nobody actually serves a full sentence, which is a bit ******* pointless really?

I see a few folk on here 'hit it out the park' (yet again) with their predictions on this one. A few choice quotes from the SN know-it-alls'
'Yeah, yeah....and what will he get? Small fine and costs he will charge to the taxpayer?'
'Imprisonment? No chance.....'
Alcazar
'I can guarantee that he will get less of a punishment if you or I committed the same offence.'
Richs2891
'So come on, you politics watchers...why hasn't he been sentenced yet?
They waiting for the furore to die before quietly letting him off?'
Alcazar
"until a later date", means, "these are rich and famous people who deserve to be sentenced out of the public eye so we can quietly let them off...."
Alcazar
'I'd have a tenner with anyone that they only get suspended sentences and fines...'
Telboy (at least you put your money where your mouth is
)
'He'll get a suspended and she'll go down..... after all she isn't a politician'
F1Fan
'Ooooh, Martin, you're so forceful, so forward, so.......manly.......I'm almost taken in.'
Alcazar (I just like this quote for it accuracy![Lol1](images/smilies/lol1.gif)

She is a complete pr#t, and had it coming. Her vindictive pettiness has put them both inside.
The original offence (67 in a 50) is so trivial the end result is almost funny, and a decent lawyer would have probably had the original NIP dismissed.
The message being put about now that suggests this will stop others offloading their points onto relatives etc as they will now realise the severity of the crime they are committing is also laughable, as the only reason he (and she) is going inside is because she grassed him up and he kept denying it.
If I thought I might lose my license I'd consider it, I'd just make damn sure I didn't offload them to a female.
