It happens. Venturing into strange lands makes you feel alive, but it also puts things into perspective for you. After all that zigzagging aborad, coming back to your secure base feels just divine!

Have to agree with swati and Matt , Wales does have some beautiful places and some of the best beaches you will find anywhere, and I mean anywhere.

When you drive towards Bangor, you see a sea-kissed land off the bend with some life; somewhere around Llanfairfechan, I think. Just if our dearest God could leave the sun dangling forever above that place, it would be like Barbados there, I tell you. Just takes your breath away!

A few gems down here, some very quiet even in Summer.

I must admit, with working long hours and juggling that with my wife and kids, I've come to appreciate time spent in our own home. We now tend to have 3 or 4 days away with our main holiday being no more than a week.
