We are in C23 as usual, just opposite where they the build the chicane on the straight heading up towards Quarry.
It's not a bad location in itself but what I object to is that why can't they shove 3 or 4 of the clubs with 3-6 cars down there, it's almost like they put all the Subaru owners as far away as they can from the centre paddock.
There are probably more Subaru cars at Rallyday than all the other marques added together.

A lot of people don't know that the organisers of Rallyday are heavily involved with MLR so that explains the heavy bias shown, what makes me laugh is that they contacted me after they'd taken my payment and processed it wanting to know why we weren't attending this year as they hadn't received my payment and order form.
Obviously they like Subaru owners to attend as they like our money but then we get treated like lepers.
Although a Zoolander style shoot off might be in the offing as he's heard other photographer's may be in the area.

Alright Ty
Does it state what time the track time I bought is? I've never been on track, and Ian I have 2 sessions that may be available, I'm waiting on confirmation of a car a min but I can't get hold of him so it's looking grim, so they may be available also if any good to you?
Also if we do get the car back here don't suppose any body got helmets they wouldn't mind donating our way for the day not very well prepared been flat out lately and then get all call this afternoon my uncle Is very ill so may have to head to Birmingham tonight, I will still be there either way just may be a bit tired and hanging

Craig, from memory your track time is allocated for 10.50am and 4.00pm.
Unfortunately I have no control over the times, they're a little spread out to say the least.
I'll see you in the morning.

Like I said the location isn't bad but yet again the organisers have ignored a simple request, even when they assured me that last year of a centre paddock position they didn't keep their word.

No problem Rob, I've no doubt our resident David Bailey will take plenty of pics once he's been let off his leash.

Might even break out the new toy tomorrow

It is in Wales, a few years back they approached me after Kev finished as their RO and asked me if I'd be interested in taking on the role, I agreed and heard no more from them.
They clearly aren't interested in South Wales full stop, shame really but that's their choice.

A very good day, good company, good action on track and a thoroughly enjoyable time.
Many thanks to Shaun for the lift up, plus the young lady who supplied the very nice cakes.
I've got plenty of pics to upload later.

It was my first outing to Rallyday, a bit strange as I've loved the sport so much from a very young age. Really enjoyed the day along with great company and you all made us feel welcome once again
Big thank you to Tyron for organising the day and Lee, that car sounds awesome fair do's
Alisa has asked me to thank you all for all the nice comments about the cakes although a good half dozen suffered crash damage on the drive up which she was not happy about , I blamed the new coilovers but she was having none of it!

Many thanks to all those who attended, I appreciate the kind words on here and at Rallyday.
In the end we did have one person who didn't turn up, and he missed a really good day at what I think is the best show at Castle Combe.
Again thanks to all for making the day a great success, and of course to Shaun for being my chauffeur (again).
Having spoken to Ian another trip over the border might be in the offing for later on in the year.

As already said guys, a great day all round. Good company, good plot ( nice one Ty ), great viewing and cars on display.
Good to meet up with some of the old crew and the new, just disappointed on the trip home, everything started so well having a play with Jay and Ian and then lost all turbo pressure. It was just having none of it.
Abit of traffic to say the least over the bridge for the tolls but thanks to daz and his tag saved us the Que in the tolls. Nice to wave past all those queuing though, just a pity we couldn't up the girl to wave bye bye.
Anyhow, onto the pod next.

Tyron,
I'm not sure what happened there but I can assure you they are looking for a Welsh Ro. New chair person in charge now if any one is interested I can put you in touch.
It's all there if someone wants it and membership is only £20 per year which is well worth it IMO. I can give anyone some info if you want to dip a toe in.
Anyway up to you guys
Grat to catch up with most of you yesterday
