Quite frankly sunshine you need to take your head out of your narrow minded ****.
Its not just about the car you small minded pillock.
Its not just about the car you small minded pillock.
Its the devastation arseholes like these two cause.
People that steal cars, break into houses generally dont give a f*ck about the stress they cause for their victims. Let me assure you ive seen the effect this has on people first hand, it destroys lives and leaves people petrified of being in their own homes. No one should have to go through that because of some ******.
What has this got to do with delighting in people's death?
Am I right in guessing that if they stole the car off the street without breaking into someones house that they wouldn't deserve this grime end? What if they broke into an empty house, of maybe stole a bicycle, what then, maybe a less grim death would be satisfy the blood-lust? Where does this line of reason end?
Im sorry but people like the two dead ar5eholes are vermin and should be treated as such. The world would be such a better place.

The issue for me is why offer sympathy to scum who themselves have none for anybody else?
I also think a lot of the attitudes on here are down to the lack of punishment if they did get caught, I honestly feel that a speeding ticket inconveniences a normal working man far more than a twoc charge does to these *******.
You play with fire expect to get burnt

Martin, Ive said my bit. I somehow feel this conversation will go round in circles.
I don't feel sorry for these people I never will. If they die doing these things then so be it. It DOES serve them right for taking such actions. My view on this will never change and the more of these scum bags it happens to the better.
Out of sheer curiosity though, if these people had stolen your pride and joy or heaven forbid killed someone you cared about ( i know they haven't in this instance but it does happen) Are you telling me you wouldnt wish these people harm? If the answer is no then you are talking complete and utter bollocks.

I don't think you guys on here live in the real world.
This was a nasty crime and had they not been killed they should have been sent down for a good stretch although I doubt this would have changed them but the public would be safer for a few years. Personally I would like them sent to a devastated village in Africa living on the local starvation diet and made to help in a rural development project where they might actually learn to be more civilised.
But this was a minor crime in the greater scheme of things (smashing a window and nicking some car keys). Real crime is the Bulger killing, Baby P, Sutcliffe, Savile, slitting kid's throats in Syria, gang raping women etc etc.
So to wish death on these two is quite ridiculous. Save that for the evil b,astards just mentioned.
You want someone to blame? Well start with the parents (or parent ) and work your way through the list - school discipline, TV and the rapid break up of parts of society.

Agree with DL and Martin, while I certainly have no sympathy with their passing, there is a difference between that and saying their death was deserved.
They should have faced the laws of the land.

Having seen some of this attrocities that go on in the middle east and Africa first hand I'd heartedly recommend a period out there for these scum bags.
They might just learn to value life and other people posessions a bit more.

Presumably you and the others delighting in their deaths have had somebody killed by car thieves, if so I now completely understand where you are coming from. If not...

Well I wrote what I did which didn't include any jumping for joy at thieve's deaths but did state a complete lack of sympathy for ******* stealing.
We live in a sh1thole of a country (compared to where it was 30 years ago) run by lying scheming politicians whose tax system is bleeding anyone who works hard dry to pay for the welfare state and a woefully wasteful public sector.
Having got through all that and put a roof over our heads and food on the table we seek one crumb of enjoyment by buying a nice car and looking after it and enjoying it.
Then some piece of lowlife **** comes along and steals it having never done an honest day's work in his life existing up until now on benefits paid from our taxes and money stolen from honest hardworking folk.
Well forgive me but if I don't shed a tear when that piece of human scum dies as a result of his actions.
To you it may only be a BLOODY car, but to me as the guy who worked hard to buy it and look after it is a lot more than that!!

Because I know he shares your fairly depressing world view, which is true enough isn't it?

i can see where DL is comming from, in as much as stealing a car doesnt warrent death penalty or dancing on there grave.
But on the flip side, what goes around comes around, was their choice to run at high speed so was their own fault they died.

Yes he seems to be based in reality rather than Planet Martin where the government is wonderful, taxation is fun, the EU are not bent and ineffective and car thieves should be mourned when they kill themselves

Clearly never said, meant or intimated any of the above, so why have you written that?
I assume the serious response will be along soon?

So unless I agree with your answer to an entirely hypothetical question, I'm 'talking bollocks'. Absolutely brilliant way to debate something

But to answer yours no I haven't been affected by such things and Im not delighting in their deaths at all and clearly youre missing that point completely. What Im saying is they deserved what they got. They are not nor ever will be the same thing.
However I despise people who deem it ok to break into people houses and or take their property whether by force or not. Or people think they have a god given right to anything thats yours.
I've had an incident lately where a traveller deemed it ok to put 20 or so horses on my land. When I approached him before he could off load them all he resorted to threatening me and my family with this that and the other blah blah blah.
I just cannot stand scum like this and if they end up dead as a consequence of their own actions then so be it. I wont rejoice in the fact but its a comforting thought that there is one or in this case two less scum bags to inflict their misery on anyone else.
I would love to know your thoughts if your loved ones had been mowed down by these two and whether you'd be so forgiving then.
I would bet that you'd have a somehwat different approach entirely.

Turns out the pair had robbed a house prior to stealing the motor, and in their late 20s/early 30s, so career criminals probably.
And one's surname was 'Crooks'.
