One could always put some sign up saying "Warning! Pesticide sprayed. Please keep off. Extremely harmful to animals and humans".
Problem with that is that I can see dog owner's dog gets ill from something else (you obviously would not be putting down pesticide or anything else) and said owner comes back to complain it's your fault the dog is ill. Would at least let you know who the potential dog owner is though.
Completely disagree with putting down antifreeze or suchlike for any animal. Much as I dislike cats, and small yappy dogs, I would not do that. A supersoaker with water, yeah, fine, but something that would actually be lethal, nope, not very nice.

Be a c*nt and leave a bowl of anti freeze next to your car. The dog willl drink it and die within days....
Or when you find the owner (wearing a glove) pick it up and go excuse me you forgot something - then put it in their hand.
It winds me up massivly when dogs turd on the pavement.. And good to hear that other peoples dog ****e up walls / bushes. I thought I only had the retarded dog!

Advocating poisoning it is a truly awful solution and you should be ashamed for suggesting it!

Simple ,the government should impose a £100 a year tax on all dog owners, per dog, apart from working dogs on farms and the blind etc.
Problem solved as it would make people think twice about having a dog and the responsibility's that go with it.
Bring in great revenue for the cash strapped government too.

It's been tried before. I believe there was mandatory dog licensing until 1987 when it was scrapped. I think the money went to the local councils.
I am not too sure why it was abolished, probably because no-one bothered to get one and there were not the resources to enforce it. I'd suspect the same would be true if they tried to start it again.
I'm also sure that it could not be started again as pet owners would be unhappy, plus I can see the RSPCA complaining, stating there could be an influx of abandoned dogs due to people just dumping the family mutt rather than having to pay a tax on it.
I suspect that it could also be seen as discriminatory against pet owners (why not tax those who smoke, those who drive BMW's, cat owners, fat people, the list is endless ), and we all know our beloved government cannot be seen to discriminate against anyone, so I doubt they'd consider this, and if they did, the discriminatory side of things could well lead to someone getting the ECHR involved.
We do actually have mandatory pet licensing in Canada. In my local area it is $20 - $50 per year, and failure to have a licence results in a fine, think it's about $100.

How do you work that out. I didn't say I do or condone it I just listed an option. Infact if you check my facebook page you will see that I am one of many who are petitioning to have Bitterant added to make antifreeze unliked by animals.
But yes if I catch a cat or dog ****ting in my garden I will happily shoot it with a BB gun in the anus. It will hurt a little and not kill it and garentee it won't be back.

No new deposits since I set the camera up.
I had to park my car further across the drive to get a good view for the camera, I am wondering if this has deterred the perpetrator or maybe they saw the webcam although it was quite difficult to spot.
Have to say I am surprised by the amount of cats that come in my garden, 10 different ones over a couple of days recording.
