they are thieving scum and need locking up.

i used to work on a local council estate and one night 20 houses had the lead flashing knicked off of their door canopies, probably worth about £10 off each one, cost over £150 each to sort out

i'm a sparky and my old boss was asked by the taxman (or whatever department) what he does with his scrap and told they will tax him on any money he 'earns' from a weigh in. he was given a warning and told he has to put in a reciept for weighing scrap in every 6 months, and they must be for a 'decent amount'.

Amazing he survived at all really, and he'll probably never truly be right in the head.
I was going to mention something a mate told me back at college in the early 90s. He was from Kendal area and a mate of his had been out on the ale and apparently ended up having a slash in a sub-station. He ended up blowing the top of his head off too supposedly. I figured it might be a wind-up although he never admitted to that. I wouldn't fancy 130,000 volts up my John Thomas at any rate.
