£2 on a card £4 on a rose. Hardly breaking the bank. I know people who spend that on lunch every day.
Plenty if places to eat out that run normal price menu's. We avoid as too busy. Head out sat night and use Tesco £1 for £4 vouchers
Actually, imo one rose concept is much better and exclusive that the bunch of roses for the sake of it. Money isn't the issue, it's the thought that counts. But that one rose has to be a damn good one with genuine feel about it.
Mind you, an unromanitic and boring ling-term boyfriend of my female friend surprisingly went out for a meal with her on one Valentine's night, and just bought her a dying rose from the seller that goes around from table to table. She was mildly happy to see that at least he came out, but a bit disheartened that he only got her a limp rose when someone intimidated them with it. Some people.

I was in tesco's last night and there was alot of men floating around with card's and flower's and choccy's in their hands. I haven't got Her flower's yet as it's been to cold and wet and snowy for them to start growing on the roundabaout's yet, suppose I'd better pop into the shop later to see what they have left
According to The Daily Mash there are now flower shop's that also sell petrol
