Ironically I don't have time to go right into it as I'm trying to work but I would suggest that there must be problems with the current system if there is a so called influx of unskilled non English speaking immigrants coming in and about to come in. I'll let those who are more familiar with the current system pick holes in it or support it
Of course you will already know that the current point system penalises heavily for non-english speaking immigrants from outside the EU, and that it is very smilar to the Australian system in terms of targetting immigrations where there is a lack in the UK.
Surely though you will have some idea as to what you think is wrong with it, I mean since you suggested it wasn't up to scratch you must have, say you top few problems with it without having to go away and look it up.

Hardly likely is it Les.
Besides when exactly is the 4 millionth supposed to arrive by, next week, next year, before the end of habitable life on earth?
Les, when you can actually come up with anything even worthy of making me 'lose', I'll be the first to hold my hand up. Your track record up to now, shouldn't give you too much encouragement though should it?

Ah, since you said you meant a "decent" system I presumed you already had a clue as to what you felt is wrong with the current one.

Nope I was commenting on the fact that there are so many complaints from people regarding the 'issue' of immigration and there are still people with no ability to speak English (some of the migrants seem to have problem with the language too) that there must be some kind of problem with the current points system. Is it rigorously applied to all that come in, is it easy to pass, are there loopholes?
I don't know, why don't you tell me why you feel it's up to scratch and fill me in. Could improvements be made?
I don't need to go away and look it up, I'm not up in arms about it all. People say there's a problem, I suggested maybe there were issues with the present system that is causing these comments to arise - hence my comment ffs

I wish that UK will avoid to have immigrants from romania and bulgaria, 99,9% of them in Finland are unemployed and are taking advantages of Finnish social system.. Crime rates in capitol area exploded to sky highs after they arrived here
I don't have any problmes with immigration as long as they adapt in to local laws and culture etc.
At the moment 69% of all immigrants in Finland are unemployed and recieving social suport from government.. Does it make any sense to take immigrants if they wont work? No but because of EU it is illegal to sent them back..
