I've been down this road before with friendship and women, I can't help but want to hump them eventually.
The friendship thing only lasts so long before the male hormones kick in TBH, I think it would make a big difference if the woman was single of if she had a partner, if she's in a relationship then you would pretty much know she is out of bounds, but if she was in a relationship why would she need a male friend anyway?

Sorry ladies but a man cannot be a true friend without already having or wanting to bang you, any man who says they can just be a normal friend is either in denial or should be popping up in one of the hundred gay threads on here.

Interesting......blokes think they're more attractive than they actually are...

IMO male and female friendship is possible. A male can have fondness for a female like he would have for his sister, and female can have the same for the male friend as her brother. It is possible. In Freudian terms, that is still psychosexual, yet again, the ego balances the behaviour and the thought process, and such relationships can remain comfortably platonic.
Women aren't idiots. It's easy to work out when a male has something else bubbling beneath the crust of 'friendship'. Then they know to mark a strict boundary, or break it if they want.
But then, you'll only behave with them like you would, with your sister or brother. You won't flirt with them etc., like many 'friends' do. If they flirt with each other, then there is a strong potential for mental sex, if not the physical one. Then again, your insecure partners may take your simple brotherly or sisterly conversations with someone as flirting.
Some people who fancy each other on the name of 'friendship' are better off not concealing it with the blanket of 'brotherly' or 'sisterly' affection. That lie makes the whole thing disgusting. It's better to be honest, like many people have been on this thread.
Here on Scoobynet, there was a time when if a female laughed at some male's joke, he or other readers took it as if she was fancying the pants off him. *******' crazy. There were stuck in bleddy 1800's then. Some still may be, I don’t know.

All women need to read and understand this ^^^^.
That is the difference: most men have plenty of female friends that they don't hit on or make any advances on. However, put a no-string **** on the table and 99% of the time we'll want to take it on.
To explain the word, 'want': I am happily married so I'd ultimately turn down a female friend that made such an advance. However, don't think for a moment I'd be turning it down because I didn't want to put her doors in.
In all of the above we are assuming the female is attractive. Ugly need not apply.
