If started after you removed the exhaust system then that would be my starting point.Have you checked that everything is tight and that you have not disturbed something in the general area of the exhaust system. TBH it sounds more misfire to me - check the coil pack and spark plug down that side of the engine..its easy to un-knowingly pull a wire or something when riving at rusty nuts. Big end failures dont go away and just get worse when the engine is under load.

sounds very much like its missfiring on a cylinder. doesnt sound like a bottom end failure to be honest

If it started after you fitted the exhaust could it be an exhaust blow that you are hearing?

There is a slight blow but The knocking sound isn't a blow I don't think!!!

imo its not metalic enough for big end. i would look at belt tensioner
