No one NEEDS a Scooby.
No one NEEDS a car that does more than 70mph.
He has no mortgage. 15k debt is nothing for someone on average too good wages. He can spend what he likes on his car.
If we were all sensible & boring we wouldn't have the cars we have & we wouldn't be on here.

At the time of taking out the loan I was left the house with a mortgage of just under 6 grand. So I got a loan of 15 grand because the interest rates worked out better. I spent the rest on taking my family abroad a few times.
My car and existing mods are paid for so I don't know what you guys are talking about.
The only reason I don't have the funds for what I was planning to do is I get paid every 3 months if I'm lucky and my last payment was down by 50% hence the massive payment I'm due at the end of next month. 5 months money is a lot of cash believe me.
I'm going to cancel my mapping session tommorow and look into a GT35 setup that also will be paid for and built by myself.
Matty I have no idea where you are coming from about lending money. How much do you owe on your mortgage ?? I bet its more than 12K and I bet your paying more than £245 a month for it..
I would also like to add that the country isn't in a state due to people borrowing more than they can afford that's all a load of bull it's down to the war on terror it's costing our country a bloody fortune...
I don't feel the need to explain myself or my financial situation anymore than I have to a bunch of strangers so I won't be commenting on this subject anymore.
I will post up some pics of my car when I have finished building it MYSELF it may take a while but it will be done and it will be paid for. I hope that makes you guys happy.

Probably shouldn't be having a gloat to people about how they are the a*seholes for still having a mortgage to pay when you've been gifted a house.
Not everyone's as lucky to have a £300k house gifted to them with only £6k left on the mortgage.
I've heard the private security pays well but after being shot at in some of the biggest sh*tholes this world has to offer like bosnia, iraq, afghan and even being bricked in the UK (NI) I'm quite bored of it now.
Anyway get some pics up

I have never called anyone and assole for having a mortgage. And you could say I was gifted a house but I paid the ultimate price I lost my parents and my sister in a tragic accident.
I didn't come on here to brag, gloat or have the **** taken out of me for having a bank loan, I came on for some information and advice but got none whatsoever just a couple of muppets trying to wind me up. Right I'm done here time for bed

Take it all with a pinch of salt matey. Anyone self righteous and small-minded with a keyboard loves Internet forums as they can cast their opinion without any comeback.
I tend to use a credit card for large purchases and pay it off over six to twelve months. I have massive outgoings all the time and they are always a useful thing to have when you own a car that can drop a large bill on you!
An independent finance company may be able to arrange something for you but it may be best to phone around and see if you can come to any arrangements with the seller / builder.

Go-ML-STi, you don't have to justify your finances here, but note that some may be genuinely concerned & want to offer advice. (It would be easier if they just answered your question)
.... & please don't remind me of my mortgage repayments! I'd rather spend it on the car.

I'm doing to add my 2p...
If you want 400bhp, go for it. I'd love that in an STI8. Private security sounds pretty cool as well!
Personally I would rather save up and I wouldnt want to get into debt, but if you're comfortable with it then its nobody else's business. Saving up is a killer when you are desperate for something.
Rather than panic to get the money/finance quick, why not postpone the mapping for a couple of weeks then book back in when you've got your bits bought?

You are a very deluded man if you think you have performed a great task in helping out our country by not getting into debt. You have very little respect and no idea what I have actually done for our country so why don't you pipe down and stop commenting on other people's life choices..
