I have a feeling you liked the post because it was a side swipe at the "whiteys" in humour obviously but still.
You obviously liked it but i wonder if you'd said the same if i had a racist swipe at say blacks or asians? humour or not.

Well yes actually we do care.
A city nearly 2000 years old settled by the Romans and historically one of the most influential cities of the world - If not the most influential.
It currently is the leading financial centre of the world and more importantly was pivotal in the direction of WWII when the London population resisted, under extreme hardship ,the German onslaught during the Blitz of 1940-41 including the V1 and the ICBM's V2 dispatched onto London during 1944-45.
With the constant threat of mustard/nerve gas always a possibility.
Have you seen the bomb site distribution map recently released? If not search for it and see if there is any area escaped the bombing.
If London had fallen ,then the rest of the country would almost certainly have toppled .
The capital survived, at great cost to the civilian lives and the heroes from the Battle of Britain.
London survived and Britain survived , ultimately allowing the platform for the Allied D-Day invasion .
If this window had not been achieved , the consequences would have been incalculable for the rest of the world - Including the USA.
None of us would have the freedom we now have thats for sure.
The people from London are the salt of the earth and your comment I find offensive.
Maybe you are young or a foreigner so cannot understand how insulting your comment is.
Paradoxically Berliners could , because they were also subjected to intense bombardment from the allies during the end of WWII .

I've been saying this for years!
What can we change? Nothing!
We vote in one party after another changing nothing.
Our rights are being slowly eroded away with a few tweaks of law here and there to tackle (chavs rioters etc) these changes will affect us all!
We are told what to eat, how to drive, how not to offend.
Can you see the pattern?

Hey come on there are already several cities in the country with a minority white population already. Why should London be any different.
The writing is on the wall for the whole country eventually.

Technically, and correct me if you think I'm wrong. But are the majority of high earners white? And are the highest paid jobs in London?
What I'm reckoning is the whites don't live in london. But those on high paid jobs commute to there, because a) its nicer out down in Surrey/wherever b) the house you can buy outside of London for the same money is a manision compared to the property you'd get in central London for the same price.
So to sum up...work in London. Live outside of London, and commute.
Why do you think politicians have this obsession with HS2? I could spectulate it because of 'whities' in jobs of power who have some influence over some politicians to leverage a new scheme so they can commute from home to work that little bit quicker.
Of course, its all wrong wrong wrong...the whities should be staying put and the government should be run by a bunch of Northerners intent on pushing companies out of London so best highest paid jobs would move to areas outside of the M25. Preferably the West Midlands, but then I'm biased
And as usual, I'm going to sit here and do nothing about it.

BTW I like the rest of the post, really thoughtful stuff. Not that what I think matters of course

No-one actually knows what you think Martin. You always go on about what you're against but never for what you are actually for. I suppose sticking your neck out would open you up for attack and hence you become a text book case in deflection, subject changing, nit picking, semantics and spin rather than addressing the meat of the topic.
Hence we don't care what you think

Because I don't constantly talk in absolutes and I actually believe that most issues are fairly complex and difficult to sum up in a soundbite doesn't mean that I don't have some strongly held views, in fact I'm fairly sure I get kicked around on here for daring to voice my views most of the time. I guess it makes it difficult for ideologues like you to fathom how someone can weigh an argument up on it's merits?
Oh and who are 'we'?
If you look at your own positions on things you would see that they are a jumble of contradictions

Modern day white London is either toffs or arrogant cockney speaking southerners. London is good for traffic, more traffic, gangs, muggings, stabbings and getting a hiding for having the wrong post code oh and Nazzi traffic wardens not to mention overpriced everything. I can carry on all day. Did you know there is a lot of land outside of London where the average income / house price is not bloody stupid.

Anyway that was history, this is now. and my most recent trip to London made me glad to live in Scotland.

Malta certainly took a battering thats for sure , but their civilian losses of 1300 are much lower than the 40,000 lives lost in London - That number does not include losses in the second blitz when the V1 and V2 were deployed and causing another 38,000 casualties.

It's a **** hole for the most part, full of arrogant ar$e holes who think it's the centre of the universe.
The rest of the uk in particular the midlands took a fair old battering during the war too but you don't hear them bleating on about it.
As for the OP the article speaks for itself, natural migration of the work force, people retiring and the new workforce moving into affordable available accommodation.
That new workforce has always historically been non british/white as the indigenous white population either think the jobs are beneath them or don't have the qualifications get them / would rather live on benefits than get a job.
The only things that have changed is where some of the people are coming from and the areas they are moving into, same old, same old imo.
