I've been asking £8250 - there are many similar age Imprezas on both Pistonheads and Autotrader for between £8-9000, none of which are white or have as low mileage. The car also has an upgraded stereo system (plus subwoofer and amp in boot) and Afterburner centre and backbox, plus I have the original PPP exhaust parts.

I've been offered £6250 for it in part-ex, but I would prefer to sell it if possible, as I hate the idea of it going off to auction :-(

I came to this thread on a break or sell search, so I'm heartened that there is a market out there. Presumably we're in the right time of year to sell to those wanting something for the summer.

Trouble is I'm sentimental about my cars and want mine to go to the proverbial good home.

It's a 13 year old Wagon WRX PPP sub 100k miles with good provenance. However, although mechanically tip top it's showing its age inside and out.

Does the team think it would be worth a bit of paint and trim or will the investment be a waste?

Must go - Top Gears about to start

Paul

I must be honest I'm amazed you ain't sold that car for around the money your asking, white widetrack blobs are rare on the ground especially with the mileage yours has. I would imagine that it should fetch in the region of £7250 to 8k depending on buyer, when I was in the lookout for another one I looked for a white one but couldn't find one, or couldn't find one for decent money should I say, if I had seen that advertised I would have probably made you an offer on it, but it would probably been a cheeky one as its a buyers market at the moment and if you don't ask you don't get is my motto, what's the worst they can say? "No" providing you weren't a dick about it and offered an unrealistic evaluation to start
