Just because they are British nationals does not mean they call themselves British or fight in the name of Britain.

I'm actually considering what is more stupid and irrational. Religion or Patrionism. Both seem to be irrational as each other and both seem to be followed by fanatical society rejects. Hmmm

I agree to an extent - but neither is irrational in small doses, it's when one becomes consumed by it that it becomes a problem, and blind to its flaws.

That's fairly sensible actually.

No such thing as a "british" nationality in my eyes, handy for explaining to the yanks where wales is etc and for issuing one passport to all.

If you ask someone in britain what nationality they are they will either say welsh, scottish, english or northern irish, only the foreigners that come and live here and a few PC brigade ever call themselves british.

Thats why not many people give two ***** about foreiners burning the union flag, however if the started burning the welsh, scottish, northern irish or english flags alot more would be p!ssed off about it.

After. By a thumping majority. Haven't they done polls like this before though, i.e. what's more important to you, being British or being Christian. I'm sure they have.

But most of these people are not Syrians Les, I would rather the UK not arm the opponents of Assad. I definitely don't want the UK or NATO forces getting involved in Syria.

Stay well away and let the tribes and other Islamic mercenaries slug it out.

A born-again Christian would put Christ first every time - you may be confused with people who are culturally Christian, rather than practising. They'd also likely be pacifists; people forget that Jesus' message was virtually the polar opposite of Mohammad's.

exactly the point, i don't know either, they want to live here but don't like being called the same as us. perhaps thats because they aren't, perhaps the goverment will invent new titles for them by putting brit in front of the country of origin or parents/grandparents origin,

I too think we shouldn't be arming the militants. Its been all over the news that part of the rebels make up is just simply AQ joining in to try and finish off a 'western' leader.

I'm sorry but I'd rather have the current regime in charge keeping the Islamic radicals at bay, than letting the rebels and AQ set up shop - that will not be a good day for team GB, NATO, or the west.

Its time we stopped pussyfooting around trying to be nice and helpful and apologetic to these eastern countries riddled with religious wack jobs. Its time to say F**k off, we like our life, we like oil, and if you want to deal with us, it will be on our terms, not with half your clucking radicals coming over for the multicultural rip off Britain party.

On one side you have a leader supported by Russia, Iran and Hezbellah. On the other side you have a group supported by Islamists and AQ.....

The options on who to support are so difficult when both are such amazing prospects

I personally say *** it and leave them to it. Let the winner rule the sandpit that remains at the end.

That's not far off, to be fair, but doesn't offer enough consideration to the prospect of a nuclear armed Iran. This small article gives an insight in to the complexity of the situation:

Works computer kept on freezing just when I had a load to do. If works computer was a man I'd want a one on one, fight till death and I would not lose.

Figured out the problem. Using wireless for a permanent online connection. Going to try a car 5 cable to see if its any better.

Anyway as you were

I agree. Although I think the UK should start making friends with Iran, Russia, China etc as it will one day help us in the future. Plus Iranians are Persian not A-Rab.

Simple. Be nice and civil. Take away the threatening rhetoric and open trade. Basically stop making more enemies. After all of Iran can make their own Jets and boats etc whilst under sanctions imagine how forward they could move without sanctions.
