A new chap a work came over and started talking cars, was doign ok at first until he told us about his mates Audi TTRS with an R8 engine in it, or the one at the Police with the standard Civic 1.4 that was a Turbo, even though nobody could find one, or a mate who when he said he had a C1 I mentioneed we had one as well, his was the turbo special edition.

It is weird, I dont get it, I will embellish a story, or alter it slightly for comedic effect, then issue a disclaimer but it is usually making me look more of a dick than I really am !

Got into a conversation about Mercedes, particularly AMG with the local Merc key changling know-all who claimed to know everything.

My lad, who has a bit of a Merc fetish commented that his favourite was the AMG SL65 Black Series.
To which the know-all replied very seriously, "Well I think they look better in silver myself".

Some people have boring lives, so they think telling stories to be the center of attention will make them popular..... it won't, you just become the laughing stock.

There was a guy i knew about a year ago at work. I showed him my new andriod tablet which i had brought. I told him i really like the screen it so sharp and clear. He went on to say that he cant look at the tablet screen as his eyes start huring because he can see the screen flickering at 720p. The only screens which he can look at are 1080p screens. i thought to my self how stupid can he get.
