dental pain is for pussies, my other half knocked my 5 top front teeth out, i spat blood and asked her what ya do that for, after that the others eitherside ended up loose, couldn't afford dentist (working so have to pay) so i pulled them myself, had soup for a few days breaking little finger and back over hand so it was touching my wrist with a ripped off nail at the same time, now that hurt, i had to pull it back into place, that took some doing

Had a badly dislocated shoulder and a slipped disc that required morphine and a ride in an ambulance where they thought it was bad enough to make me incontinent. But I have never made a noise like I did in the car outside the vets after holding my 13 year Doberman whilst they put her to sleep, that was 8 years ago and reaching for a tissue now. RIP Katy x

Full shoulder dislocation (partial ones happened 30+ times), setting fire to whole hand, some weird back spasm thing; 12 local anaesthetic injections for four teeth out; all similar levels of discomfort. Oh and stitches in my foot.

I've broken both wrists, the second time with the bone poking through my arm. And broke my ankle and had to walk 3-4 miles home, all this before I'd hit twelve.
Ear infection are *****.

But definitely worst is putting back out. I moved a pallet in the back if a van a few years ago 40 odd miles from home and put it out completely, never experienced anything like it, incapacitation, pain and being useless. I had to drive the van home and it took me about 20 minutes to walk the 100 yards to my house.
It happened again recently. My 2 boys had to walk me back to the house, and I literally screamed in the mrs ear when she moved me on to the sofa. The side of my knee is permanently numb, except for when I go to bed, when it feels like a soldering iron is there instead.
Backs are *******.

Mine has to be an ear infection. followed closly by tooth ache - nerve on show and then a paper cut over a paper cut under the nail.

Oh god yes, i held my yorkie as he was put to sleep, my eyes are filling up now and that was 10years ago.

Mental pain has been far worse than any physical pain I've had.

I broke my wrist snowboarding and that was painful, but it came in waves and so long as I didn't move any fingers it was ok. I was able to drive to and from a&e. As soon as it was in a cast I never had another even a twinge from it.

Only thing I was in agony from was acid reflux, which is ridiculous. Happened about 4 times, of a nighttime and I'd be sat in bed crying with pain. It was like constant burning fire all up my chest to my throat, I couldn't swallow to had to dribble onto tissues, and I had to try to sleep sitting upright.
(if anyone is interested my gp gave me antibiotics and a proton pump inhibitor for H.pylori eradication and I haven't had it happen since).

busted sternum was pretty bad. Kidney stones were horrendous - didn't care if I'd died that night, anything to be rid of the pain.

Paint fleck in my eye where the lids join hurt like buggery every time I blinked, but when the doctor used a bent syringe to scrape the film that off that had started to grow over it to get it off, whilst shinning a light in my eyes and telling me not to blink/flinch, not good times.

One way or another, I've had some pain over the years, but by far the worst was the pains in my stomach that landed me in there for a three day stay.

Initially it was thought to be suspected appendicitis, then I was sent home from the hospital with them thinking it could be a bad urine infection. Two days later, the pain was unbearable (I was being sick it was so bad, had a fever), so I went back, and they again thought it was appendicitis. Without going into the whole story, I avoided the operation as their tests showed it wasn't, but I'm still not 100% sure what was wrong (even though the hospital think they know).

After all my injuries in life, and various hospital procedures, nothing comes close to that. I'm not a fan of pain, but in my adult life, it is the only pain that has been bad enough to make me cry.

I've had something similar (well sounding going by your description). It happens every so often, sometimes years apart. For me it's like a form of irritable bowel syndrome causing those horrible pains in your gut (right lower for me stretching around to the left too). Never been properly diagnosed but I've been on drips in hospital and even blacked out when 17 through the pain. Again suspected appendicitis but nothing coming after tests.

Worst pain for me was a bout of pneumonia when I was 18-19. The needle to drain the fluid was very intense and the coughing up of blood was a horrendous (and frightening) experience to go with the actual pain.

Another was earlier last year (maybe more irritating as well as actual pain). I got a bit of rust in my eye either at work or riding home later the same day. By night time the irritation was awful and nothing could sort it. I went to hospital the next day with my eye constantly dripping and very blood shot. The clear skin had grown over the rust overnight and the doctor had to numb my eye and use a scalpel to cut it away.

Thing was he flicked my eye and I heard the scalpel ping off the numb eyeball. This sent my vision involuntary blurry and I had a panic attack as my brain just couldn't "compute" it. Next thing I knew I felt sick and had blacked out. I had a really warm wonderful dream full of blues, purples and general tranquillity. Really surreal and then woke up to the worst pins & needles ever in both arms. The doctor did apologise and said I was only out for 30 seconds or so I NEVER want to feel that feeling again

Tooth Ache!

Always on a weekend. I remember going to the dentist first thing Monday morning begging for an appointment, telling them i pay, giving all the benefit people who get free dental care dirty looks for taking up space.

God what a whoss I feel after reading this lot.

Toez broken 5 weeks ago healing nicely- first time in 47 years broken anything

Made 1/2 inch dent in sternum other year that was painful

Gd forbid have a kidney stone -that sounds the worst

Other than nasty infection or the ubiquitous back spinal nerve pain -had several weeks worth of it putting me out of work
- this is without there even being anything actually broken /miss placed.

Also the ubiquitous tooth pain. , ......!

I had a pain in my side for over 20 years.
I am single again and been fully cured for 18 months now.
Mental pain lasts longer than physical.

Worst physical pain was having a front tooth knocked out in May this year, by a bin lid.

Multiple shoulder dislocations, I set fire to my hand once, having four teeth out under local (the injections were agony), the injection in my foot when I sliced it open, some weird back spasm last year. All caused a new breed of swearing foulness.

The worst pain I've ever had way a massive pain in the ****, but I ditched her and married my wife.

That and something similar to Lisawrx and COB. Once a year for seven years I'd have an intense pain in my lower stomach. It would have me vomiting and curled up in agony. It would generally last for several hours and leave me weak for 3-4 days afterwards. Several times I've been admitted into hospital and put on morphine with it. The doctors though it was appendicitis, but the tests proved negative. Then it just stopped about eight years ago.

1. My labour pains during my first child's attempt for arriving on this earth. That's a twisted pain that makes you scream so loud that the walls of the hospital shake like hell. It went on for hours until I gave up and got the doc to get the baby out via operating on my tummy.
2. When my toe got broken. Throbbing pain. Couldn't sleep all night.
3. When my back tooth had an infection lately. Again, it was so cutting and hollow in nature that I couldn't sleep! I had to borrow Cocodamol from the neighbour, and took it for the first time in my life.
