Nothing else better to do I imagine ! Bet they wrote it all up for the cps and they just laughed and threw it out ! What a waste of policing and paper work ! Probably trying to make there unofficial targets that they say they don't have !

Not that it matters so it seems, but the speed awareness course is usually offered up to 10% +6mph. Some areas are 10% +2mph.

Oh and slow down

They can't do you for it on the information you've gave us, it wasn't a traffic car so end of.

These threads always turn into these everyone knows better scenarios and scare/wind you up.

Thank me later
Absolute rubbish, it doesn't matter if they're in a traffic car or not. They could be on foot, a pushbike, whatever, there is nowhere in legislation that specifies in order to be caught committing road traffic offences the bobby needs to be in a traffic car.

Wrong!
If they are on foot, they can report you but you will NOT be done without sufficient proof, it will not stand up in court unless you admit to it.
Slap on the wrist scenario.
And a 2 police officers Verbal evidence is not enough.

If your smart enough and know the law then you won't get done.
But if your dumb and don't know the law and think your in a corner then you will.

Ask me how I know.

I can't be arsed arguing over it to protect others if you don't know the loopholes, I'm only out to care for myself. End.

Exactly what I said earlier, regarding your careless driving scenario, if they don't have video evidence of you doing it or no general public statements then officially that's not going to stand up with the cps unless you've admitted it and signed a statement.
So if above, then no. Talk to your solicitor if it does come ahead and pay him well you won't get done!

Different scenarios require different procedures depending on offence committed.
