Funny you should mention toyotas, that's one of the reasons i have no money, I have a '88 mk3 single cab that's at my mates who's a 4x4 specialist having some much needed tlc, mainly because I drove it through too much water (well above the wheels) with no snorkel thinking I was a hero at the time, two days later servere bottom end knocking and subsequent engine transplant required! Hey ho you live and learn ay!
I know what you mean about the isuzus too, a mate has just got rid of his 11 plate silver one as he thought it was ****e, now owning a landy disco 4, very nice upgrade indeed!
Just need to locate my grandfathers ancient map with the grid ref of the money tree he once spoke of.....
Nice story, good to hear you have a 25 yr old truck still on the road. Perhaps a newish Hilux will be the last car i ever buy... I have seen some on a truck forum that have dome over 300,000 miles

Still open to more offers. The Spec C is just sitting in my garage not being used at present.

The car is in absolutely excellent condition and ready to go.

To be honest, I don't understand why it has to go ! Looks like a perfectly sensible four door family saloon to me ! Do spec Cs have isofix?!
In all seriousness, congratulations and GLWTS

Hiya Rob.

Yep, just lots of talk so far and empty promises.
it's been quite eye opening trying to sell a car on the forum.

I am now thinking of keeping the Specie for sometime longer as I save up for the Hilux or Ranger that i really want. The new ford rangers have top reviews. Maybe wait a year and get a used one of the new models.

Nice motor. Unfortunately I'd be one if those offering 8k due to budget restraints, but it looks like its worth the ask price.
