Saloon only I think?

Cool cars but pretty poor bhp for the size of engine and lack of mpg!

The two estates I would consider are a C63 AMG or RS4. Or new RS6 if business suddenly got VERY good!

No there is an estate version, also a aftermarket supercharger option.

Would make an ideal hearse for Thatcher, getting this back on track

I'm a bit late to the party I know, but the top 10% of taxpayers are most-likely staunch Tories and they pay 50% of all tax collected. If they want the funeral paid for by the state then so be it! Seems fair to me.

Ten million could well be better spent TBH.

Especially when were actually cutting large numbers of people employed by the forces to save money, it must be a slap in the face to any soldier who's just lost his job..

Walking through London just now, it feels that with the amount of barriers erected and police at every road, helicopters buzzing around, and international press area, it's a state funeral in all but name.

UK PLC is known around the world because of the pomp and circumstance of these occasions and the fact that we are really good at it.
Every time GB pops it's head up tourists flock here.
Ten Million is peanuts compared to the advertising value.

Apart from anything else, if they asked the Co-op to take care of it, I think they'd have trouble providing security..

Is anyone in their right mind seriously going to watch this **** on TV let alone go to it? This country never fails to surprise me in how much more moronic its population can get.

Crazy amount of cops around New Scotland Yard and has been since very early this morning...I hope it all goes down without any unexpected events.

It's just A N Other London event Chris, just one that you are not a fan of...loads of people will watch it just like a royal wedding, jubilee, sporting event...

If the funeral cost a tenner, everyone would still moan. The majority of the soldiers and cops are working anyway. It's just a different job for the day. The actual "additional" cost is naff all.

£10m of public money is the square root of f**k all.

How do you know this? and what of the majority who haven't found work don't they count?

£10 Milliion of public money is 'public' money, which should be spent on more needy things that the 'public' will benefit from.

What about the amount wasted on failed IT projects, billions in comparison, or the cost of holding Police Commissioner elections that no-one took part in, or the cost of interpreters for the NHS, and so on.

THESE are things that are a waste of public money, not the funeral of a world figure, which is small potatoes in comparison.

Exactly. At least we are getting something tangible out of this £10M, unlike these sorts of money black-holes.
