I really want a scoobie. I have limited budget (£2000). Can't seem to find one that is half decent. People are asking so much money for classics now.
It's ok picking one up cheap but will you be able to afford to run it? You don't wanna buy one, get a few unwanted bills and have to sacrifice others things or skimp on running costs mate
That's why I recently sold my 4th classic as I'd rather spend my expensive cash on my family (groan)
For £1,500 I'd buy that if indeed it was panel damage and not a shunt etc. But I'd be wary from a lack of service history. Warranted miles is great but a few stamps and receipts are pretty good too

Picked it up this afternoon. Straight car no problems that way. Some lacquer peeling off on roof spoiler. One mechanical issue so far it that sometime feels underpowered. And other times fine. As if its holding back.
I paid the 1500. I was happy with that to be honest. I did brim it with v power when I left. I did 150 miles home in it. No rattles squeaks noise nothing. Just hesitation. If I gently accelerate there is less of an issue.

Well done Steve, it seems like you've got a bit of a bargain there! Cat D doesn't really mean a lot at that price point.
