Thanks for all your feedback fellas, much appreciated.Im deffinately going to do this and my price after my first two that have pmed me will be £75 if they are happy with my work and willing to recommend me.
Im hoping to do about four cars per month max,as i dont want to get tied up with it,as i like to do mine at least once a month and spend time with my family.

I think i've died and gone to heaven, went down to see Stu on Saturday to have the S202 detailed. Stayed to help and I must admit I learned a lot, Stu is very professional, has all the kit and has a genuine desire to make your car look as good as it possibly can. 270 mile round trip but very much worth it, it was a pleasure to meet you and your family Stu who also made me feel welcome (especially the bacon sandwiches).
Just seen the car on the Ashby Folville thread and there she is, although that F_ckin crap number plate is history
I've asked Stu to post some pics up coz i'm useless and don't know what i'm doing Andy

Can I ask if you are insured against accidental damage to any of the cars??
Not questioning your prowess or nothing it's just a mate of mine done something similar to you and ended up in small claims court.
Just something to consider mate. I wouldn't wish for anything like hat to happen here.

I like to find out what the owner wants to achieve first and then make a judgement call as to what can be safely achieved and I wont risk damaging a car for the sake of extra cash, there is always a risk in everything we do but as long as you agree this with the owner then there shouldn't be any issues.

No worries mate was just a thought after I had seen how badly it all affected my mate and if I didn't try and help someone not make the same mistake then there would be no point Beeing part of a forum.
Good luck with it all.

Spot one mate but as I say it was really like you doing your own car on a Sunday morning but for me he had ten times more knowledge of what's required because if you had showed me a picture of my car when he'd finishes compared to before I'd have thought you'd been smoking something
