Thanks to Martin for turning up, this hasn't be what I'd class as a success given that only two of us attended.
I won't be organising anything else down this far as obviously the 'locals' couldn't really be bothered to attend then I'll not be bothered to arrange anything in the future.
Quite a few have posted in the past stating that they'd attend a meet and yet only two of us turned up, myself from Llanelli and Martin from Cross Hands.
It would seem that apathy is rife within West Wales.

Sounds like the run we did down threre last year was it or year before, plenty of names but from memory only 4 or 5 of us, and it was hardly local to me.
Least you tried mate, as mother says, " god always loves a tryer"!

Well things didn't go according to plan for me today, spent all week/yesterday thrashing on the car to be ready for this, even polished it today in preparation! But was not to be, a baby that wouldn't settle meant no clearance for launch from 'er indoors...
Sorry guys

I definitely won't be organising anything else down there, they are more than welcome to organise their own meets etc.
It's easy to sit back and moan about the lack of local activity but then when it is organised people still don't attend.
I've got better things to do with my time than waste it.
And thanks to Martin again for taking the time and having the common courtesy to attend, I hope all goes well with the planned modifications.

Was well up for this, you can check my facebook page on cleaning and repairing the car from the fire i had in the engine bay from the end of the week. Just didnt get get it ready in time
Looks like the fire did more damage than i thought. I actually got the car cleaned, hoovered and polished while the mechanic was working on the car but there was too much work

I'm hoping to make this a regular event, so let's get this off the ground and see if we can't make this a success.
I'm looking to organise a meet in the Carmarthen area (although nothing firm as yet so venue can be changed) on the weekend of the 8th or 9th of June.
I'd like to hold the meet and then go for a drive in the locality possibly down to Pembrokeshire, or over the Preseli Mountains but we can decide that on the day.
Please put your name down below, I know these have been tried in the past and never really taken off but I believe there are enough owners out there who'd like to meet up and talk with other owners.
1. Cannon Fodder
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
Please make the effort to mingle and talk to other owners, I've been to meets where 'newbies' have attended and never gotten out of their cars. They've then complained that nobody talked to them but it's hard to talk when you won't even make the effort to get out of your car.
You don't even have to attend in an Impreza or Subaru (although preferable) just make the effort to be sociable.
Even Swansea Jacks are welcome.
