The super sport wasn't available in the 235 at the time. The wheel is an 8" wide rim and 225 is the tyre specified for it. The stretch is an illusion as the tyre has a rim protector built in giving the illusion that its stretched. I assure you it isn't.

235s would go on, but unsure how they would look?

Attention to detail is fantastic, one of the best cars on here
