Ahh bad luck with the car, that sucks.
Hope you get it sorted. Had I seen this thread sooner than this morning I'd have endeavoured to lend you mine for the day. A Scooby man shouldn't be in a Fiesta on his wedding day.
Good luck for the big day, best wishes to you and your lady

Dear all,
back from honeymoon, fantastic time was had by all just got to finish paying for it all now!
Went to pick up the car Saturday afternoon. The dealer principal was away at the local carnival with the service manager so they left the sales manager to do the handover. The car was driven out of the workshop with a dented/creased front wing and an alarm system that doesn't function properly.
As you can imagine I was seriously unimpressed especially when the sales guy tried to say the car arrived at the garage in that condition. Anyway after fearing for his life and then admitting that he signed for the car without checking it he agreed to fixing the car at their expense, the alarm problems came to light when I got home. I also have to run the car in for 3k miles, I'm not sure if this is standard practice or just another effort to bore me to death in the car!
I called the garage today to ask the speak dealer principal to call me to discus the way forward, but he has chosen to ignore my request!
Any helpfull suggestions would be appreciated,

Aside marching down there in person to chat with them, I'd send them a rude letter explaining to them how unhappy you are and how you feel they should rectify the issue to them via recorded delivery.
I'd also look for a different place to take your car, you said it was Europa?

Hi Richard,
I purchased the car from Europa but the dealership my car went to was in Essex (near Stanstead airport) we only have 2 in essex now
All correspondence with the dealership was in Email and now copied to the area manager and subaru UK but nobody seems prepared to want to take responsibility for this issue!

So no problems with Europa then
LuckyWelshChap will hopefully come across this thread soon and provide the usual sensible advice but I'd start threatening to take legal action.
It is a shame but unfortunately you have to shout to get places sometimes.

Sorry, but it's no laughing matter as we all - including NG - agree.
YOU have a valid warranty.
YOU have it with the company you bought the car from ie. Europa.
It is Europa's responsibility to ensure that the warranty cover is there, not your's.
I presume that you didn't sign a separate agreement with the warranty company, that the car came with the warranty?
THEIR problem, their bigger problem if it all doesn't fit.
A nice (but 'strong') letter to them saying that the car has failed under warranty provided by them and you expect that it will be repaired within a reasonable time ( 2 weeks?) by them is your first step.
We won't cross (or build) bridges before anything happens, so do that and let us know what the result is. PM me if you wish.
On a better note, REALLY glad to know the wedding and honeymoon went well.
I hope that goes for the rest of your lives together.
We're about to hit our 34th anniversary. I doubt that anyone would have thought someone would have put up with me for that long.
