The Impreza always looked good in my opinion. Ok it never had the fluid lines of something European but those flared wheel arches, painted 4 pot callipers, spoilers, air intakes etc alway made it look purposeful, menacing and sporty. This new one looks ungainly, like a frumpy sloth that you would point and laugh at.

it's obvious, they went the money saving way....the concept they teased us with, would've put them in another legaue.
let's wait and see what the STI looks like. who buys a WRX anyway ?

Noooooooooooooooooo
How can Subaru get away with this ? They show us a fantastic, stylish door "coupe" concept with the WRX badge on it and then produce a naff "Jelly mould" saloon that looks like a Honda Civic. They obviously have no respect for their customers or they think we're totally gullable.
I've had 7 consecutive Subaru Turbos/WRXs/STis over 17 years and to be honest they were/are all fuggly. I thought for once they'd come up with something that would be great to drive (they all are) AND have a bit of class. I should have known.
Yet another model that will be heavily discounted to clear stocks after 18 months.
However it looks like someone - Lexus (read Toyota - BRZ partner) might have actually used the concept ......
Compare this to the WRX concept - http://images.thecarconnection.com/l...00446574_l.jpg

We have yet to see the final spec for it (STi) and how different it may or may not be. The WRX info released so far is only for the US Specification version.
When info of the Australian market models is released we should have a better idea of what may or may not come here.

Too be fair the WRX will never interest in only the STi
TBH they have stood stationary for the last for the last 5 years in performance and handling bar from the Price.
if the brand doesn't buck up I will move to an EVO least they've move on.
