PRIVATE PLATE SALE
#31
We'll see. More people seemed to corroborate with my view than yours, but if you sell it for your asking price then well done in advance.
BTW - prb is spelt pride, stoll is spelt stole, crached is spelt crashed, and sould is spelt should - Back to school LITTLE BOY!

Can we cool this now.
People will disagree and this is just one example. I feel sorry for sean having his car nicked, but lets not turn this nasty

LOL at James
I can't believe (i before e) how many times you edited your lead post and still left loads of spelling mistakes.
Sorry about your car though, seriously, nightmare. I hope you get what you ask for on the plate and wish you all the best with the insurance etc..
Will you get another scooby or has it put you off?

I think I am the luckiest.
My surname is MESSULAM
my plate is M555ULM
because they are all full width characters, when I put the GB symbol on, they are forced next to eachother, making a word, which means nothing unless you know who I am.
And to cap it off, I get 555 thrown in for free! and all for £250.
I am trying to buy M355ULM for my 355 which I have not bought yet.
sorry but M1 to me does not read MY, and even if it did, MY SCOOBY would not be worth £1000 to me as it is too long. P1 SCBY is far better and even that is not worth anywhere near £1000.
You need to understand that something is only worth what someone will pay for it.

There he goes again with his illiteracy and offensive language. He has the nerve to tell other people to grow up, but it's quite obvious who really needs to.
Why don't you put that fantastic number plate on the next car you get, if it's so wonderful? Alternatively, I think K4UNT is still available at the DVLA.

sean :
you might have more luck selling your plate if you put a few more details on the advert....
eg. are there any marks/scratches on it ? is it plain backdrop or honeycomb ? - 3D letters etc ?
Perhaps you should put a photo of it up - like Monsta suggests - I've noticed a few people use photos to good effect when selling slightly worn tyres and wheels.
I can see how the 5 looks a bit like an S, but just out of interest, where do you put the studs to make the 1 look like a Y ? and how do you fit two O's in to make scooby ? perhaps a photo would help - hmmm...
Cheers

Just because the chap has got something to sell thats to expensive theres no need to slag him off,It's his goods and he can ask what he likes.I spend my life looking at goods that are to dear but i woud'nt dream of giving a load of ****e to the owners,I bet when this geezer puts his clear repeaters or something on here for 50p you'll all be leaping in.

You aren't a salesman are you? The plate is pretty ordinary, nothing that you can't get from the DVLA for a few hundred.
You think its worth a lot more, fine. All you need to do is find a buyer with a grand.
Best of luck.

Honestly... what's all this about - if someone wants something bad enough they will pay for it no matter what the price is. No need to slag the guy off - he's just doing what we'd all do - trying to get the best price - no one is twisting anyone's arm to buy it or did I miss something?
It's actually quite interesting I have a private plate and I'd like to know what it would be worth, even though it's NOT for sale.
Good luck with your sale anyway.

I was being serious in my offer or enquiry but seem to have opened a can of worms. Supply and demand says it will go for what someone will pay - common sense or what.
I found him slating others for saying it was not worth £1000 funny and above all the dreadfill spelling mistakes stil apperent in the thred.
Love it.
