The watches are fine, but what about those plastic bracelets morgentau is wearing? Are they some sort of gheyer signalling system to alert other gheyers about your passive/active preferences?
I've always assumed men who wear beaded necklaces are employing a similar gheyer preference alert system

Er.. Looks like you've got to broaden your horizon a bit before making such assumptions...

As mentioned before - these are campaign wristbands.
FYI: Two of those relate me to my area of professional interest, e.g. Photography and Videography and support an internet resource used to help novice photographers with tips & info.
The other one is RNLI Lifeboat support

I've not seen a decent watch on here yet. So far it looks like a catalogue of what's upcoming in next weeks Aldi special offers.

Other than that, we all have our preferences. IMO wristbands are cool.

Have to say, after a day of comedy bad timekeeping (I guess it was "charging" up the auto mechanism) the Aldi Seiko is keeping flipping good time. Bit of a surprise.

I found a good wristband that campaigns for a very popular phenomenon on line.
As cheap as £1.95p on some website.

Perhaps one day you'll evolve into something with a sense of humour

I take it you wear bits of plastic around your wrist and even perhaps a nice beaded necklace just to finish off the look?

I've also got orange polarized Oakley Jawbones. Clashes with the gold but matches my brashness ;-)

I can just imagine the Zenith watchmakers year:
January - started work on Choppers watch. I'm having to extract the raw materials myself by hand.
March - the smelting is finished and we're making progress.
July - it's very hot today and I'm still making Chopper's watch.
September - yes, it's looking like a watch. But my God am I bored of making it.
February the next year - I'm nearly sodding well there.
March - it's FINISHED! Time to make the next one...

Its a 36,000 vbh movement (10 beats per second) automatic chronograph with day, date, month, moonphase and 12 hour 1,1/10 sec chronograph complications. These watchmakers have to be from another planet with their engineering skills. That's the part that flicks my switch with watches. Gold case and diamonds don't do it for me, but handmade complicated movements is watch **** imo.
