Phil - hope you're ok (no whip lash) and get it sorted soon.

Gutted for you mate.. hope you get it sorted soon...

To all those people who are suggesting you 'enhance' your injuries can I suggest you look at the correlation between this activity and the size of our insurance premiums? D!ckhead5!

Just got my estimate

£1389 and our company has a £500 excess on performance and modified cars

Lucky my broker has details of all my modifications

Won't the guy who hit you have to pay for it though, or are you going to have to pay the excess until the claim is sorted?

Feel for you mate - very poor.

One thing tho: although this is a massive inconvenience, and your lovely motor's fooked, I'm afraid this kinda thing (if he's serious) really pi55es me off:

sillysi:
Don't forget tomorrow morning your neck will be as stiff as hell and you will need a couple of days off at your doctors advice. Make sure you put a claim in for this

Forgot to say hope you are ok.
It's this kinda false claim that is keeping my insurance stupidly high

mark,

altering your stereo is just as dangerous as messing about with your phone. Er yeah, if you keep your hand on the stereo controls for 10 minutes etc. like you do a phone!

Of course its more dangerous. How many times have you seen people with no hands on the wheel cos they have a phone to their ear and have to change gear. Too many times. And if a kid runs out, or your tyre goes pop. oh dear.

you don't try to change gear whilst adjusting the volume on your stereo. or do you?

Mine goes in the boot of the car, should be a bannable offence

I can't be the only person who gets very scared when I see people (usually women I have to say) sending text messages as they are driving.

Worst of all I have seen a policeman in a marked policecar showing his partner a text message he had just been sent. we were next to each other at the traffic lights and I really wished I had my camera with me that day!

Grrrr, what really gets me is that Black Cab drivers in London have never heard of hands free kits. Professional drivers, on the road all day and charging fare paying pasengers a bloody fortune, whilst nattering down the mobie to their mates about football!

Asked one to pack it in whilst a passenger once - ohh that went down well with the mouthy c~~~! Almost as well as the no tip! 'Tip?' I said, 'I'll give you a bloody tip, don't charge £20 for 4 mile journey'!

Rant OFF

clocked 5 yestaerday, just by riding home for 30 mins!

Alpine & Greggers,

You can read my response in the post that is running over in the 'No Subaru Related' forum. I have also amended my original post to make it a bit clearer.
