I ran a 0-60ft in 1.8sec, and a 1/4 in 13.01 with just over 400bhp in a bugeye full trim. Clutch was slipping though ;(

Hi Steve

Seen yours run at Elvington and conditions there has been not the best

We are done our best at 11.8 last year on the 2.1L with the 490bhp,but previously we are done again 11.9 as best time with the Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta and Rota Grid Drift on our wagon

We are done quite few runs at Santa Pod and we are previously struggled get to the 11's(usually our times has been around 12.5,but there has been few low 12's too)

Confused at the times here, santa pod etc are far better tracks than the place us down south get to race.

How can 600+ hp not run low 11s/10s all day long?

Now I run 11s all day long on a crap track with 500hp, and that's on road tyres at road pressures. I'm looking for 10s on this set up with more practice and some small tweaks...

But my mechanical sympathy is 0, drive it like ya stole it...

jGlanza, gear changes if not right can account for 0.5 seconds or more and weather conditions can account for the same so there is one second !

Yeah I have a mashed 4th and 5th synchro, and it was raining heavily in the morning and starting to dry out during the day. Was still damp/puddley when I did the 11.6 run. 11.2 was a hot day

Delayed reaction has clearly got to be a key fault. The amount of folk that hit rev limit, or shift gears prematurely, or even jump the lights from my speciation point is huge. I'm not saying I'm any better, just pointing this out
