best place for price and quality for forged internals

Any how boys, I think fifer was asking for places to buy internals, not for a slanging match to ensue.
I got my parts from Import Car Parts

All of what you are after plus oil pump, timing kit and a couple of other bits for what I regard as cheap

Damn, thats not good. Personally i've not heard of any others doing the same. Have you? 1.5 bar is not much to cause that. Thats what i would expect from an hydraulic lock. I had something similar on a bike which in the end i put down to a small end seizure as it cracked the top of the liner in my case. How easy did the wrist pin come out afterwards?

Water ingression into the cylinders, as prior it did suffer white smoke on cold or hot start a few days before failure.... Heads are still in the workshop ready to be sent away for testing and skimming. Wrist pins were very easy to remove & no marks to them at all..
Had two instances with cracked liners, but admitted it's not very common.

The engine would be put together by someone with a stack of experience, and all the very necessary cleaning functions would have been carried out by someone with the right kit.
We'd be happy to quote for a block with this sort of finish;

Cylinder 2 ringland was bent downwards and burst the cylinder wall, Water ingression, so not material fault as you state.

I suspect cylinder 4 broke before this instance, hence why I've never been able to find the missing piece of piston, the bizarre thing was no damage to the cylinder wall ? work that one out, I still have the block for future reference and to make a coffee table out of lol.
