what options do I have
#31
My car is in small bits in the garage at the moment, but before I tore it down I was on 330mm ksports with bluestuff NDX pads, and I was very happy with the performance on track.
On the road, it made no discernible difference to stopping distances, although it did make a difference to the way the brakes felt.
If you've got discs that are in good nick (i.e. not scored, no huge lip etc), you could just change the pads and see how you get on. The pads will make the brakes feel "different", with more aggressive bite etc in my experience.
Btw, the braided lines and fluid will not make any difference to absolute stopping distance either, unless you drive the car so hard that you'd boil the older fluid. The braided lines are more of a feel thing again - the pedal will feel a bit more consistent.
