I'm in work doing my VAT returns actually and find it rather therapeutic , a bit like care in the community dealing with the less fortunate

Yes I have read all your posts above , er all 3 of them I highlighted , didn't take me long to find them , but to be honest I don't have to look far to fry you , your shoes must leak terrible in this weather the amount of times you shoot yourself in the foot lol.

All pads get slated on all forums in one way or another , if they don't suit the person using them then they will have something negative to say about them , thats what I keep saying to you but you don't want to listen , there is not one pad fits all , its finding a pad that suits the drivers intended use , and sticking with it , can you not see that ? or are you going to keep saying as a pad doesn't work for you thats its no good for anyone else ?

I have used EBC brakes in the past and they cracked up and came apart it was EBC orange pads but my mate has the orange brake pads and they seem to be rather good on his car and he always has good things to say about them,I think there lies the issue,I think there quality control needs stepping up so the consistency of each pad they sell under a specific title I.e orange, blue etc...are of the same standards and durability.when this happens I might give them another try in the future, but for now PF pads and CL pads will be my first choice everytime.SJ.

Do you still have them , I'll send them back for you and ask them to check them out , and get a free set out of them for you , pads generally do that if they have gone past there intended heat range , I have had the Ferodo DS3000 and CL pads crumble around the outside edges do it with me with very hard continous track use

And I have agreed with you in that past that pads don't work for me and maybe ok for others but you clearly don't see that and every time I take the **** in jest and banter as a lot of posts on sent you get rattled but don't see the banter etc.
So I just carry on with you but your too thick to realise that and after the conversations before and the way you have replyed with insults etc I now just don't see you as a mature person anymore, just like the childish conversations you used to have with bob at Aztec (now that was funny) you just get sucked in every time lol.

As I said earlier if I'm a 'troll' or 'trouble maker' why the **** are you still replying? I just don't understand you, unless you really want to make friends with me
Why would you waste your time and bother? Just get on with selling your goods or replying to people's pm's before they complain and say you have plenty on time to talk to me but ignore people's pm's

Every time you reply to me (instead of ignoring me) you just show yourself to be feeding the 'troll' if thats what you called me, but I can't be as you are still replying to me

Now if that's your attempt to 'try' make people dislike me, I can do that myself thank you

Now I'm getting ready to go out and do the Sunday routine with family so if I don't reply, don't think I'm ignoring you. Will give you time to get your books etc done.

P.s what pads would you recommend for me on the mx5

No Ian I got them when they first came out when EBC was under new management and seemed to be more professional and customer related even coming on scoobynet and letting members try there pads out I think it was there NDX blue pads and was getting quite good feedback and then the orange pads came out that was supposed to be for harder use which suits my style of driving so i bought some and within one month I noticed my car was getting really dirty and the brakes seemed to be fading so took out the pads and to my surprise they were cracked right through the middle of both front pads,I just binned them at the time if I knew I would of took you up on your offer which in thinking now I was a bit stupid to just throw them away without making a complaint or giving them a chance to rectify my issue.SJ.

Well iirc weren't the dealers selling the sample batch out to buyers when there were only samples for them and was having issues then right at the start?
Seems that some sellers were still selling the sample batches even after as to which maybe the issues that people were getting or the quality control from ebc as said above, I just don't know, but there is very mixed reviews that just don't do ebc any good IMO and has scared a lot of people away IMO for the expectations of the pads that they supply.
Back in the day the only ebc pads I've seem good commas from are the yellows as they were the choice of many but since then ebc have gone down hill IMO trying to compete with the market.

The orangestuff pads have had 3 formulations now , for the first 6 months after they became available , then it was tweeked twice within a month or so , and has stayed at this formulation since , it sounds as though you had an early pad then , but still they were only tweeked as some were having issues on the track .

When did your friend have them fitted ?

I have asked EBC to come up with a pad that will compete with the best out there , unfortunately it falls on deaf ears . They class the orangestuff as a race pad , and they are no where near that ! its certainly not a pad i'd put in either of my rally cars

Yeah Ian,my mate must have the new formulation his pads where only fitted about two months ago,and when he told me I was telling him off saying why he never contacted me when he was ready for new pads for advice as he has only had his subaru for a year now and how my pads fell apart, but when I drove his car they seemed to be on the money which baffled me really, his car has not got as much power as mine but it still has around 370bhp and is a newage bug sti, that's why I put it down to quality control but your proberly right Ian that his orange pad must of been the new formulation mixture and my one was the first specification pad formulation.SJ.
