Well i cant comment on that has i never personally did business with them. I wqill say though it's harder to give a great service when your funds are cut to the bone and you're struggling to stay afloat. I sympathise with those who have now lost their livelihood.

I was generalising, companies that offer poor service deserve to go bust imo.
I've never dealt with Aztec myself either.

If you paid by credit card you should get refunded, as long as you report it within the specified time limit. 45 days i think it is.

Hi Stephen,

You ordered some discs and pads online, order was clarified with you before dispatch and was correctly processed. We even upgraded your order free of charge to our cost. Only when you went to fit them did you realise that YOU had ordered the incorrect discs and pads.

You returned these several weeks later, well beyond any returns period, but I still said I would take care of it, is as seemed to be a genuine mistake on your part.

As I said on the telephone, we are waiting for these discs to come in, as soon as they do I will send them out to you. We've been very accommodating in accepting a very late return for an incorrectly ordered part, but we can only send out the replacement part when we have it in. Please bear in mind we will have only lost money on your order through no fault of ours.

If you wish to order from elsewhere, feel free and I will raise you a credit note to use on anything you may need, otherwise please sit tight and wait for a delivery to come in (due any day)

Posting up on the weekend on a public forum is not the way to do things, it's not going to help the discs arrive to us any faster.

We've been in the business for years with a very good customer base and are not going anywhere.

Sling the ad up or PM me and I'll get in touch with the Directors to give them a chance to explain and possibly avoid CH - and the CPS - becoming involved.

I agree with the comment about companies going over and hopefully this will regrettably be a case of that, but fortunately no-one (except a government organisation) losing out.

I've bought disc and pads from Aztec in the past and between Bob and myself we had a miscommunication (even though to this day I believe it was Bobs error
in that the wrong pcd discs were sent (or ordered). Either way with a simple phone call to Bob arrangements were immediately made for the wrong discs to be collected and the correct ones delivered.

Have faith and patience if you've been guranteed an exchange (at no fault of Aztec) then hold fire as I'm sure they'll come through just as they did with me.

Your original post is geniune as was Aztecs response.

Good luck

I have just read it.

It's not adviseable for me to form an opinion of what you've written and/or what your intention was and hopefully no-one else will read anything into it either.

Anyway, back on track and as some have intimated we've now got a balanced account of what's happened.
The op can be confident that he hasn't lost his money and we all know that the business is certainly not ceased and continues to have the confidence of a number of satisfied members.

We seem to be having these sorts of threads almost every week.

I think a fairly recent one actually got the forum into hot water, the aggrieved business owner stating that their solicitors would become involved.

Seems like poor communication on both parts but glad it is resolved to a degree. I have used Aztec performance on many occasions and they have always been very professional and courteous. Probably a good idea if the OP asks for this thread to be closed by an Administrator.
