Out of curiosity David, Southern Ireland has a very high rate of dodgy diesel.
Does your product react badly to diesel that has has a load of, god only know what, chemicals added to it.

I ask this purely because a customer of mine gets diesel fuel pumps from a supplier who gives a lifetime warranty on the unit - everywhere except southern Ireland

Impossible to say really. However we do get some excellent results in odd places that do have poor quality diesel. One in particular where it is used in remote telecoms stations scattered over a wide area (Philippines I think) where diesel is very poor quality but the catalyst has greatly improved fuel economy and stopped the engines getting clogged up.

Just to be clear, when I say dodgy diesel - I mean red diesel that is made to look like regular diesel by whatever means

The Irish eh

Don't they filter it through cat litter? I think Liverpool has a cottage industry in this

Cat litter eh.
From what I was told all sort of acids are used to remove the red dye

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the Garda in the countryside were a little colour blind

Its not just the same now, but I seen many a time in rural parts of southern Ireland while down on business, Garda drinking in pubs - while on duty

So have returned from completing ~1000 miles in Eire. Used Maxol E5 and Applegreen. 4 fills, so there was probably still a trace of Nitro+ in the tank. No hard acceleration, didn't really need to exceed 4000 rpm, returned about 28 mpg. No knocking detected (by ear and feel, no Knocklink).

The stations were a bit few and far between, but not much worse than planning for Shell garages in some parts of England.

Hope there is no hidden damage caused.
