I sent you this on the 29th and this was your reply. I specifically asked if I would have them by LAST weekend, and theyre not even here yet. Nor can you prove and means of postage.
You then said you would send them Tuesday and I'd get them Wednesday, and I STILL dont have them. Prove you've sent them or refund me, TODAY

And ref the box, the builder of the box said it was a p1 diff and it's never been proven it wasn't, the buyer started demanding a partial refund 2 months after the sale. It wasn't even my gearbox as I explained. But I'm not arguing this again on here, it's been discussed at length already, I am a reputable seller as many people will vouch for

Says you didnt send them til yesterday so why did you tell me I would get them by last weekend, then Wednesday, then just keep me guessing? I've had to ask 3 times for tracking info and all you keep saying is "i've been busy with work".
Not busy enough to keep you off here, logged in a few times a day earlier in the week and ignored PM's.
Why reply to a for sale thread when you're on holiday or busy with work then not deliver when you say youre going to? Just want to take the money from the sounds of it.

Sorry to hijack and I hope you dont mind Lee, but I can confirm that the box should never have run a 4.444 diff as was advertised, as I supplied the diff from my own JDM WRX bugeye to ''match'' this PPG box.
The box was filled with Redline shockproof oil after an extensive build, it never had time to run dry before the center diff went.
Heres Lees build sheet...
spec list so far rated water pump
2x alloy catch tanks
braided breather hoses ( an8-an10 )
2.0 jdm sti short motor
11mm modified oil pump
uprated water pump
new sump and pickup
new belt kit
v6 sti cylinder heads
gt spec headers
harvey 3 bolt trick up-pipe custom rotated
brd billet 25g hybrid
braided rotated lines
titan pro r 10w50
4,444 rear diff
ppg dog box , billet forks etc
redline shockproof oil
fmic with custom pipes
thermal coated manifold ( flipped )
custom alternator relocation kit
exedy stage 2 paddle
custom rotated downpipe
brd external wastegate
dv delete
gm 3 bar map sensor
cosworth head gaskets
arp studs
rear diffuser
wide arches
fluch bonnet vent
anodized bolt kit
bosch099 big in tank pump
brd 850cc injectors
ngk pfr7b's
direnza Alloy radiator
brd 77* thermostat
3 port bs
braided fuel lines
omex iat sensor

However if they can't for whatever reason/s then they ought to give specific detail as to why & then allow the buyer to go ahead or not.
All this argy bargy of being on holiday/busy at work may be legitimate but does not help either party & ends up in a thread like this sadly.

Is this now the end of this week's public-squabble-which-ends-up-as-misunderstandings-but-resolved-albeit-unhappily-ever-after ?
Don't want to be sounding like I'm lecturing anyone but:
* Sellers have to ensure that they have the time to put in so that buyers don't get frustrated eg. to send goods promptly and to attend to any queries;
* good communication is important;
* buyers need to accept that airing their problems in public will lead to this sort of thread and the prospect that they might not come out of it all sweetness and light eg. used Paypal Gift, returned goods out of warranty period etc.
I've suggested before that it might be a good thing for a buyer to send the seller a planned post and give them a final opportunity to sort it, or at least discuss it.
It would save eggs on perhaps more than one face.
Oh - and the feeding frenzy we have when everyone rushes to the support of someone who's having a problem.

All of that above goes without saying, It shouldn't need to be repeated, Most sales break down because of bad communication or none, It's common courtesy to keep a buyer informed of any delays and give a reliable delivery date IMO.... There are NO excuses

In my opinion sellers should allow for Paypal fee's when selling. This would avoid a lot of the hassles leaving the buyer to calculate and pay the fee. You are using a service getting paid by Paypal and tbh the fee's are not excessive @ 37p per £10. Sales listing as plus fee's or buyer pays fees should be deleted. If the seller is that tight arsed it's most likely not a bargain anyway.

Surely swapping phone numbers and having a chat casts most doubts? I had a 20 minute conversation with Winston yesterday and soon after he was bank transferring funds over. An hour after I was texting him Special Delivery tracking number. It just takes a bit of trust and a phone call and it saves buying off a complete ****.

Buyer unhappy, plenty of support from the community, seller gives their side of it, plenty of understanding from the community, consensus among community is that both sides could have done things a bit different but at least both are satisfied at the end of the day.
For the 3rd week running I'm glad it's sorted and there's no lasting harm to anyone's reputation.

We paid a deposit on renting a holiday apartment, and the owner told us when we enquired that it would be 'plus $12 fee that Paypal will charge'.
No probs, we knew up front what it was, what it was for and were happy.

What the two of you did is a good example of good communication leading to a smooth transaction.

Not being clever, but this is identical to the threads of the past weeks that I've referred to.

oh and why not use the trader score system to leave feedback on your purchase to help other buyers in the future.
I see someone has already posted some interesting feedback for the seller

My thoughts exactly Tommy !!! In my case no resolution was agreed i took the hit had the box rebuilt and was left with the words " you should have checked the gearbox matched your diff" ringing in my ears, few unsavoury words exchanged, and you move on realising sometimes when you **** against the wind you get wet !!!!
